Title: I had surgery at a hospital that my parents personally found for me.
After becoming an adult, I thought that my complex about my jaw could be solved through orthodontic treatment, so I only went to famous orthodontic dental clinics, but they all said that they were all surgical cases, so I was honestly scared of surgery, so I just let it go and lived.
I often hid my jaw when taking pictures out of habit, so my parents looked at the pictures, found a hospital to get surgery, and made a consultation appointment.
The hospital my parents found was Waigang.
My parents found it for me, so I trusted them and went there. After receiving a consultation and looking up reviews, I trusted the hospital even more. However, since it was not a small surgery, I kept worrying about it, but people who had the surgery said that it would be better to get it done when you are a little younger, and that the satisfaction rate after the surgery was high, so I decided to get the surgery.
8/26 Double jaw surgery, 2 types of contouring (square jaw, front jaw) The day before the surgery (day 1),
I ate a lot of meat and fasted after 12 o'clock.
I arrived at the hospital with my family around 9 o'clock, checked the wafer again, changed clothes, and went into the operating room around 10:30 after the consultation. After going in and lying down, I came to my senses and was in a hospital room. Not being able to sleep until 8 o'clock was harder than the pain. I almost fainted when they started adding antibiotics to the Ringer in the middle. The nurse watched me and started adding them little by little from the next time, so it was much better. My mother stayed until the end and went home, and the nurse on duty changed the ice pack and the blood tube, so I think I slept for an hour and woke up. I was able to breathe well.
On the morning
of the second day,
the catheter and blood tube were removed, but I didn't feel anything.
The director said I could practice biting the wafer and drink water and Newcare, so I tried, but my throat was so sore that I could hardly drink
. I was getting a Ringer, so I was alive, so I just stayed. The ice pack was constantly being changed, so I just watched YouTube and walked around the hospital room a bit. That night, I was actually able to breathe better, but then I started having trouble breathing so I told the nurse on duty that I was having trouble breathing, so she said she was going to cut off the oxygen supply. They gave me the same thing and it was resolved well. And I kept coughing so I held it in as much as I could, but it was hard to hold it in. The nurse told me to hold it in as much as I could, so I tried.
I listened to the explanation that I would be discharged the next day and held it in until the next morning.
On
the third day,
the day of discharge, I received a laser treatment for swelling, listened to the explanation, and took medicine for the Ringer, and after the Ringer was removed, the director asked if I was okay, so I gave him
a thumbs up, changed my clothes, and left. My parents picked me up, and we drove home together. On the way home, my drool kept flowing and I had to use tissues. When I got home, it was actually hard to eat and it was painful. I bought a sauce container from Coupang and drank it with Newcare and ground bananas or sweet potatoes. The medicine couldn't be taken with water, so I ate it with Pocari.
Days 4-7
Taking the medicine was painful. I even ate food with Newcare in a sauce container, but it wasn't enough, so I fainted once in the middle
. From the fifth day, I did a hot compress. And I walked for about an hour every day.
Day 8,
I went to the hospital to get it disinfected. I I thought I brushed my teeth well, but my doctor told me to brush my teeth more thoroughly because the crust on my palate wasn't peeling off. Ugh, embarrassed. I got laser treatment for the swelling and got home to rest well.
Day 9-14
My nose was unclogged and I slept lying down. From this point on, I started to feel better, so on the 13th and 14th days, I met up with my friends and hung out and went to a PC room. Then, I lost a little energy and lost almost 10kg, so I went to an internal medicine clinic and got a nutritional supplement called Ringer.
On
the 15th day
, I went to the hospital to get my stitches removed and got laser treatment for the swelling. It hurt to have the stitches removed, but it wasn't unbearable. The doctor said it would sting, but it did. I drove there from that day on.
Day 16-Currently,
the swelling seems to have gone down a lot except for around my philtrum. My face shape has definitely changed. The weather has been so hot lately that I don't go for walks much, so I just play games at home, order Blast from Vera, and eat a lot of porridge. I want to eat something delicious soon.
But These days, I feel happy with my changing appearance and my face changing every day, and I have many happy thoughts. I want to eat food that I chew quickly.
