I started braces in June of last year, and now one year and three months have passed.
I didn't look at many dentists, but I didn't have much money at the time, so I just started at a place that offered discounts through events, and so far, I've been getting it without any problems.
I had 4 teeth extracted because the protrusion was severe, and I am currently in the process of closing the space where the teeth were extracted, and I think it will all be closed within this year. After that, there's still the hell of putting elastic bands on the top and bottom, but I'm glad that I can fit my mouth as much as I can now, and my profile looks much better than before correction!
I can't wait to get my mouth full, so I want to quickly take off the device and get a retainer. It really takes 15 minutes every time I brush my teeth, and I think it's inevitable that I'll feel uncomfortable every time I eat something.
I want to finish the correction quickly and post a review of before and after photos here. I hope the correction ends beautifully! :D
Oh, and if you are really complex and stressed about your protruding mouth and want to correct it, start as soon as possible, even when you are one year younger! As you get older, your gums become weaker and worse. These days, many dentists offer 18- or 20-month installment payments, so get a consultation and do your research carefully before making a decision!
