When I was in elementary school, I had a protruding jaw due to malocclusion, but my progress was not so great, so after an examination at Seoul National University Hospital, I was judged to have both jaws as an adult. (At that time, I didn’t know if it was orthognathic, and I was told that I was having jaw surgery.)
I had surgery at the Department of Oral and Facial Medicine at the University Hospital, and in my case, it was definitely a scaly jaw, so there was no such thing as a big change in my previous image or anything like that. went in. Friends I haven't seen in years know it's me and want to change something, but I don't know where it's changed. There is a slight lift at the tip of the nose, and the submandibular gland part looks like a double chin when the mouth is open, but I am satisfied with the result of the surgery because the chin was a very large complex. The feeling came back.
I am satisfied because it was a complex with a large protruding jaw, but when my friends with good occlusion are thinking about both jaws for cosmetic purposes, I am against it. Because it wasn't a small operation, I still feel the jaw pulling on days when I'm not in good shape, and above all, because the recovery period after surgery is really painful... (tenderness, inability to chew, etc...) If there is no complex, I think the satisfaction will never be high compared to the high price and suffering. On the contrary, those who think of a chin as a serious complex will of course know how effective it will be after receiving detailed consultation with the hospital! Still, I think it would be relatively satisfactory.
