 Here's a review 3 months after getting double jaw surgery and facial contouring!
Ever since I was a middle school student, I've been told that if I needed double jaw surgery, orthodontic treatment wouldn't work, and when I actually became a college student and wanted to get orthodontic treatment, I went to a hospital and heard that if I only got orthodontic treatment, it could actually have a negative impact on my aesthetics, so I was worried about that for a long time ㅠㅠ
Then, while working at a university hospital, I came across many things and realized that double jaw surgery isn't necessarily that scary or difficult! Of course, it's not easy or simple..
Anyway, after doing some research, I ended up getting the surgery at Waigang this June!
After the consultation, I received orthognathic surgery and contouring 2 types. I posted a review on the day of the surgery, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd days. Since then, time has passed really quickly and the swelling has gone down so much that I don't even remember the day of the surgery. I'm living my daily life comfortably these days. ㅎㅎ
My job requires me to talk to people a lot, but my pronunciation has improved a lot and the swelling has gone down a lot. Now, most people don't even know that I had the surgery if I don't mention it first. ㅎㅎ
First of all, as I went through the post-orthodontic treatment, I felt like my occlusion was gradually becoming more aligned, so I think I gained mental stability.
Right after the surgery, even when I heard that the surgery went well, I was worried because my occlusion wasn't aligned, so I couldn't pronounce well, but now I don't have those worries at all and I can eat most foods well. ㅎㅎ My front teeth still don't match so I can't eat noodles, but other than that, I'm happy because I can eat everything except for chewy foods. ㅠㅠ
And I've heard a lot of comments from my friends and people I meet at work that I'm pretty, so meeting people is so much easier. I'm happy ㅎ_ㅎ
I think my lower jaw became smoother and slimmer because I had surgery on my square jaw and chin ㅠㅠ
I feel happier and more joyful because I live my life hearing a lot of compliments and good words,, That's why I really don't regret getting the surgery even once ㅎㅎ
I go to the orthodontic department once a month, and I saw Director Lee Seok-jae three months after the surgery to check on the progress. There were no special issues, and he interviewed me in detail to ask if there were any inconveniences in my daily life and if I had any questions, so I felt grateful once again and went home ㅎㅎ King of kindness bb
