An article worth reading for those considering plastic surgery?

린이햐 2007-04-09 (월) 23:29 17 Years ago 4830
I happened to find an article written by a medical student on Naver about plastic surgery... I'm getting really scared... I think it would be a good idea for you to read it and share your thoughts... It's been 5 years since I had facial contouring nose surgery. I am curious as to whether those who have had surgery for more than 10 years are okay or whether there are many cases where repeat surgery is needed. Please leave a lot of comments about yourself and the people around you. We, the patients, don't know the ins and outs, so when we hear what the doctors say, it seems like that's the case. If you tell me only about the pros of your technique, they will only know the pros and not the cons. How would we know... That's why it's not easy to make a decision even with counseling. It's unfortunate and so heartbreaking... I hope that we all read this article in the spirit of sharing information and helping each other, and find solutions to the actual stories of those around us and our own concerns. --------------------------- Since the article is long, I will simply summarize it. Cheekbone surgery is a surgery that almost always fails (it is not done properly and the quality is low), and nose surgery, using silicone, Gore-Tex, and cartilage, are all dangerous and lead to failure later on. Facial contouring is a nonsense practice that even professors discourage. Do not do anything other than double eyelid incision surgery. I, too, am a female medical student who once suffered from a faulty double eyelid surgery, but was able to get back to normal with a reoperation. For your information, I can confidently say that these days, “female medical students” have the most plastic surgery information after plastic surgery specialists, so if you are around someone, please ask for advice. Now, to the main point... You're doing facial surgery... I'm still in my 3rd year of majoring... I'm a really bloodthirsty person with a lot to learn, but I'd like to give you some advice. Facial surgery is a truly major undertaking. It is an incredibly dangerous surgery, and even five years ago, or even when I was in my first year of pre-med, if my seniors said that facial surgery would be performed on ordinary people who had not suffered from traffic accidents or facial deformities, the professors would shed tears and oppose the surgery. In short, it is a very recent surgery that has been performed for cosmetic purposes. In fact, a famous celebrity in his 30s even received consultation at our university hospital due to the side effects of this surgery. I am truly worried about the many female celebrities who have had facial surgery. I'm not sure exactly what kind of surgery you want, but are you looking for cheek or chin surgery? Look around and see if there are people around you who have had any surgery other than double eyelid incision surgery and have had no problems for more than 10 years. no. Find out if there is anyone who has been there for at least 5 years . Is there anyone who lives a satisfactory, uneventful daily life? Professor Goever Reams (Johns Hopkins University), who is said to be a leading plastic surgeon, said, “Cosmetics is the second issue in facial surgery.” He said this at a conference in 2005. In reality, there are only doctors in our country, but there are very few medical researchers and research facilities are poor. It's unfortunate, but I can't help it because I don't want to be paid a lot of money to do research after studying for 15 years and paying huge tuition fees. I don't like it either. Therefore, new developments in medical research are entirely dependent on the West, especially the United States, Norway and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, in the West, double eyelid surgery and facial surgery are unpopular among cosmetic surgeries, so their development is very slow. Rhinoplasty, liposuction and breast augmentation are the mainstays. Therefore, I don't think the development of facial surgery is much different from what it was 5 years ago . I know a lot, and there's a lot I want to tell you, but I can't write it down coherently. ㅠㅠ The conclusion is that the surgery is not yet clear, and even if the results are not satisfactory, I would like to tell you that unless it is an extreme situation that causes problems in your life, you will be completely excluded from compensation. And if you don't have a lawyer in your family, it's very difficult to hire a lawyer, and even if you win the case, you have to factor in the lawyer's fees and the opportunity cost of time, and in the end, you will be the one to lose. Lawyers, those who have studied a lot , know that a medical lawsuit is likely to add one more blemish of losing to their business card, so it is obvious that they will refuse or demand exorbitant fees. Are you envious of celebrities who have become prettier? Why are they all pretty and have no failures, so why should I worry?... You shouldn't even think like this. Many failed celebrities are already being forgotten, and only the successful ones are the ones who survive today... Among the so-called Gangnam plastic surgery clinics, P Plastic Surgery, which has an unrivaled position in facial surgery, treats facial deformities within a year. Please find out how many people suffer from paralysis and even death. Among the famous facial plastic surgery clinics, how many facial specialty plastic surgery clinics are there in Gangnam that are not in the process of being sued? Please find out how many medical lawsuits related to medical plastic surgery are pending at domestic general hospitals. For reference, the medical school I attend is also one of the so-called Big 5. Although it is one of the medical schools, two weeks ago at our university hospital, a woman in her 20s fell into a state of paralysis while receiving jaw surgery from a professor. She woke up but suffered from chronic facial paralysis and will not be able to smile on the right side of her face for the rest of her life. ( Similar to Nam Hee- seok). Since the patient signed the pledge, that is, the surgery was performed even though it was clearly informed that side effects may occur (of course, there are no 0% side effects among all medical surgeries), the final ruling is that our professor was not at fault. It's not actually the professor's fault, but the patient's characteristics. In short, modern medical technology and laws cannot guarantee you. We make it clear that you can suffer for the rest of your life in the name of having a unique constitution . Please, I will tear it up and stop you. Please understand how I feel about giving this supplementary explanation. I can't tell you about it because of reputational damage, but among female celebrities, there are more than one or two people who are walking down a thorny path , and even if they succeed , there are countless people who visit the hospital because they are suffering from side effects such as sagging skin and tremors . Phew..... , when I read the post below, I heard that you are doing cheek surgery and chin surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;; I couldn't see that and wrote this vaguely thinking that it was just facial surgery, but I really want to stop you. Cheekbone surgery is truly a surgery without measures. Oh, please. Cheekbone surgery is a surgery that even famous celebrities cannot afford to do. No joke, more than 80% of the cheek surgery in plastic surgery before and after photos is virtual plastic surgery based on data from Johns Hopkins University's DREC plastic surgery institute. Hoping that your skin will stick together without asymmetry after cheekbone surgery is a scam, a gamble, and a lottery. As for the risks... it is an extremely dangerous surgery that cannot be overstated. If you touch the brain wrongly, it's not just a side effect, it's good-bye~earth! It is a surgery that is performed, and to be exact, it is a very new surgery that has been performed less than 10 years ago. To give an example of the current double eyelid surgery in Korea, if I were to exaggerate a little, I would say that the level of current cheekbone surgery is similar to the sausage outline double eyelid surgery performed at a university hospital in 1985 using a complete incision. can. If you want to decide, do it 10 years from now when there are no side effects to your skin with more developed technology . If you have cheek surgery, you may not like your cheekbones, but there are side effects such as the skin sagging in an unsightly way, it hurts when you smile, the skin trembles, and sometimes it gets cold and turns blue when it gets hot . One or two of these side effects are likely to appear within a year. I am confident that it is over 50%. You know that when your skin changes, you look 10 years older!!! Moreover, in this case, there is no traumatic problem and it is difficult to provide evidence that plastic surgery was the direct cause, so no compensation is received. Plastic surgeons say the bones are well together and there are no health problems, so just go back. That's it. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Once a patient complains, I think it is normal. If this happens, there is no solution. sir. The 50% side effect rate is killer. Even a side effect rate of just 1% or 0.5% is so scary that you have a half chance of dying at your age, right? I have talked to more than 50 people who asked for advice from people around me who wanted plastic surgery on their faces, breasts, etc., and those who didn't trust me because I was a medical student... I am proud to say that I "saved the lives of 50 patients" before I even got my medical license . I don't even know why I think about it all day and try to stop it so frantically. However, as someone who was once a victim, I cannot tolerate the person who wants to have cheek surgery and chin and chin surgery like this. Cheekbone surgery is a surgery that is bound to have side effects within a few years. Appearance is truly important in this world, but as anyone who has already experienced a failure knows, things that are more precious than appearance begin to show after a plastic surgery failure. Why didn't I know this before plastic surgery? Hitting the ground doesn't help. And even the precious things that were fine before plastic surgery are destroyed one by one. This is a problem that even people who have devoted themselves to medicine for 15 to 30 years or more cannot accurately name. Having studied medicine for less than 5 years, I cannot dare to define any one field. However, if it were me, it would not be a surgery with guaranteed stability (about 30 years) after an appropriate period of time, such as a hooked nose surgery. I think silicone and Gore-Tex surgery, which has been around for just over 10 years, is still around. In my opinion, celebrities continue to receive subtle treatment during their gap years. In short, in our country, the longest nose surgery has been done is 4 to 5 years. No one knows what will happen 10 years from now. Moreover, our country's medical technology is completely dependent on the United States, but the problem is that the skeletal structures of Koreans and Westerners are completely opposite in their preferences for plastic surgery. In the West, double eyelid surgery is rarely performed, and nose surgery is also developed by shaving the bone and removing the beak. Basically, because my nose bone is large and high, I don't often use other implants. Instead, body shaping such as liposuction, calf incision, and breast augmentation is the mainstay. On the other hand, in the East, double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty (surgery to raise the nose rather than reduce the nose) take up a much higher proportion of cases, so implants are used. However, research is slow and it is impossible for implants to develop quickly. I believe that surgery using the nasal septum, or cartilage, requires reoperation almost within 3 years. In fact , there is no one around who has survived more than 3 years with their ear cartilage, nasal septum, or costal cartilage, and even after 2 years, the bridge of the nose falls down due to natural adhesions. I am cautious about Alloderm because it is such a new compound. And, rather than the side effects of the osteotomy itself , different implants are used when the osteotomy is made. Considering that nose surgery is done considering not only reoperations but also lifelong surgeries, if the implants are not placed in the same location as they should be, there is a very serious risk of non-adhesion of the bone structure and skin from then on. It's painful. Well.... Personally, other than double eyelid incision, nose surgery is a modern technology that requires re-operation as well as lifelong skin aging, etc. As you get older, you cannot flexibly adjust to your body, so you have to do it until you die..... ....That's what I think. To be honest, I get the feeling that professors are very cautious about plastic surgery due to their social status, so they avoid answering questions. However, when I talk to female seniors or read journals, I think that real plastic surgery is like a landmine before it explodes.

저 위의 글은, 제가 볼 때는 좀 너무 지나친 비약인 듯 싶네요..;;

나도 했던 광대랑 턱. 턱의 부작용 전혀 모르겠어요. 그냥 상태불만족일뿐- 광대는 솔직히, 왼쪽 분명 둔한 느낌있고 볼쳐짐으로 팔자주름 나타나셨지만, 그리고 얼굴비만 =ㅂ= 저..저 정도는.....그래도 하기전보다 상태 쵸큼이지만, 낫긴해요..... 10년뒤에 하라-라는 부분은 맘에 와닿는 =ㅂ=)b 광대수술에도 얼마나 유행이 많았나 생각해보면 말이죠..... 고정식과 비고정식, 두피절개와 최소절개..... 다음엔 뭐..뭘까요... =ㅂ=;;;
