This is a review after 5 months of chin advancement by Director Kwon Jae-hyun of Soda. The recovery process will be different for each person, but I had swelling and yellow bruises for about 2 weeks. After about 3 months of surgery, I heard a lot of people say that my face became slimmer and that I lost weight! The feeling of numbness in my gums gradually disappeared and is now completely gone.
I also received good aftercare at Soda. I think she gave me a 30-40 minute massage when I went once, and I could see the director whenever I wanted. And the director took better care of me after the surgery and responded quickly, so I think I recovered well without any major worries.
My case was just a straight 4mm chin advancement osteotomy, so the change may not have been dramatic, but I am very satisfied! When I saw the director last, I said in passing that I wish I had advanced a little more. But he said that if I had advanced a little more, it would have been unnatural when I smiled or made certain facial expressions, and I thought that he considered even the smallest things when he did the surgery.
