I got it right after I graduated from high school, so it's been almost 10 years. I got it because my square jaw was a complex that I had for a long time. It's been so long that I can't remember clearly, but if I think about it...
I was also recommended a cheekbone surgery, but I was worried about sagging and the cost, so I only got the chin surgery. (I should've gotten them both..) I was worried, but there were no functional issues, and there's just a slight asymmetry? feeling. For a few years after getting it, there were times when I felt like my chin was cramping, but now I have no issues and I'm satisfied because my chin is slimmer.
