Originally, when I was young, I didn't know if my face shape had any flaws.
However, when I was in elementary school, my friend told me that I had a square jaw, a big face, and that I was strange. Since then, I have been stressed every day about my face shape. I always cover my face with my hair, and on rainy days, I carry a curling iron and spray with me in fear of my covered hair coming loose. I go to the sea, swimming pool, or bathhouse. I really hate places where my hair gets wet, and if possible, I never go there. I'm conscious of when I eat, so I can't eat comfortably, and on windy days, I cover myself with a mask. I hate myself, feel embarrassed, and have a hard time. I've been doing this for exactly 8 years, so I'm so tired now. This was the reason I decided to have 3 types of oral contouring surgery (zygoma, square jaw, and front jaw).
The day of the surgery = I was so happy that I couldn't sleep well. I didn't feel nervous or anything like that until the surgery, and now I feel like I can go around comfortably. I was comfortable until the anesthesia was administered haha.
Day 1 = I wasn't sure if it hurt on the first day, and the hardest and uncomfortable thing was not being able to sleep after the surgery. ㅠㅠㅠ
Day 2 to Day 6 = It gradually swelled, and from the 4th to the 6th day, my face really hurt. It was so big that I felt like I was going to burst and die.
From then on, the swelling gradually went down, which was great.
Meals = Until the 7th day, I only ate (New Care, pumpkin juice, and water). From then on, I started eating soft foods little by little and changed the type of food. I gradually increased it haha.
One week = I went to get my cheekbone stitches removed, and I was nervous because I thought it would hurt, but it didn't hurt much more than I thought, so I was really satisfied. My face was heavy and moderately swollen. There was no pain or anything. I put it on high when I sleep and stayed there for a month. I think so too haha
2nd week = There is still swelling. In the morning, it seems to be a little more swollen in the picture, but at night, the swelling seems to have subsided a little as shown in the picture.
3rd week = The swelling has gone down so much that I can now go out and do my daily life. Haha, it looks like there is swelling around my square, chin, and double chin, and the lumps under my chin feel hard to the touch (three on both sides and in the middle). Now, I can eat just about anything except hard and chewy foods by cutting them into small pieces with scissors. Kyung haha
4 Parking = I have a picture. It seems to be the same as the 3rd week ㅠㅠ But time goes by, so it will probably disappear by the 2nd month ^~^
As above, I can still feel the lump. Except for food, I cut it into small pieces and eat it. Haha
Review = First time after surgery. It was so hard and painful, I couldn't sleep well, and my face looked so ugly, huge, and grotesque compared to before the surgery that I thought for a moment that I had done something wrong, but as time went by, I now feel the same as before the surgery, only the double chin area is more prominent. My mother and younger brother's faces are worse than before. They say it got a little smaller haha. The chin was noticeable right away hahaha. The cheekbones aren't a face shape that stood out like before, so I'm not sure, but it looks neater. I think I need to watch the square jaw a little more. ㅠㅠㅠ And I tried singing, but I can sing really well, but it's still hard to hit high notes. ㅠㅠ I can open my mouth better than before, but it's still not perfect. I hope the swelling goes down quickly <3>
