I always thought that I had a long face with developed side cheekbones and 45-degree cheekbones, so even contouring surgery would fail.
My frontal face looks out of place due to my
developed cheekbones, and my 45-degree cheekbones have also developed, so I'm always unsatisfied when I take pictures of my profile.
So when I was thinking about surgery, I tried to choose a hospital that would effectively add cheekbones and complement my long face, and I went to about 5 places. After going around the world, I chose Waigu and Maxillofacial Surgery^^
In fact, I first met Dr. Seokjae Lee through YouTube, and he seemed like a person who would say no to things that shouldn't be done just by looking at them, and help you let go of unnecessary expectations.
During the actual consultation, if you put too much cheekbones, your face will look worse. It looked long, so he added it appropriately, but through t-osteotomy and cortical osteotomy, he suggested a suitable solution to complement the long face by slimming the lower canal and slightly shortening the length. And in
fact, my younger brother was very satisfied with the three types of contouring surgery performed by Dr. Seok-jae Lee. Seeing how well it turned out, I made up my mind about 80% before the consultation and went for the consultation and scheduled the surgery on the same day.
I arrived 30 minutes before, changed clothes, signed a consent form with the director, and then had a design consultation with the director.
I showed the director a photo of a famous influencer, and he firmly told me that I couldn't do it like that person haha.
Instead, he explained the surgical method, saying that it was important to perform the surgery according to my face. The director reassured me, and I entered the operating room a little nervous. I lay down and the anesthesia gas came in, and when I woke up, 3 hours had passed and the surgery was over and I was in the recovery room. It didn't hurt as much as I thought and I was fortunate that there was nothing special. Afterwards, the director came in and said that the surgery went well and that I was a little less slim than I thought. However, they told me that men need to be masculine to be attractive, so I thought that was the case too, and stayed in a bit of a trance. After the director left, I received care from a nurse in the recovery room, and was discharged after seeing the director the next morning. There wasn't any pain, and my throat was a little sore because I couldn't eat anything, including water, until midnight, but it was okay.
The swelling reached its peak, and my friends were surprised every time they looked at me. I looked in the mirror and asked, "Can I be this swollen?"
I was a little anxious, thinking that this might fall out, but actually, that's not the problem. My mouth was swollen, and I don't know if it was an aftereffect of the general anesthesia, but my throat was so sore. My throat was
really sore, and the blood kept coming out, and I couldn't chew, so I was hungry, and the weather was cold, but my throat was sore. Because I was in so much pain, I had body aches, couldn't sleep, and my mouth was all ruptured. No, I didn't have any facial pain after the contouring surgery, but I almost died for a week because of neck pain and body aches.
To be honest, it was really hard. Everyone, after-care for real contour surgery is really difficult and important.
If you think that it will be okay if you just take 4-5 days of vacation and go to work wearing a mask, you are making a big mistake. Think of it as resting for at least a week, walk often, take your medicine well, and please don't do anything the hospital tells you not to do.
Now my throat doesn't hurt and there's no more phlegm. All the stitches in my mouth have been removed, and it's been 5 days. From now on, the swelling has gone down little by little, and by the 3rd week, it has gone down considerably compared to the 3rd day.
I also advanced the tip of my chin by 2mm, and the tip of the chin has become very slender, and my parotid bone used to be long and big, but I can see that it has become shorter, and the most important cheekbones have not been pushed in completely. I think it makes your facial features stand out more clearly!
When I look from the side, there is still a lot of swelling in my cheeks and entire face, but my acquaintances are giving me great reviews, and my younger brother who had the surgery is happy that it went well, and more than anything, I am happy that he likes me. There is still a long way left for the swelling to go down, but if you already like it... Haha,
first of all, I will continue to walk hard and use hot compresses hard, and I will write another review in a month!
