I got a double chin fat extraction injection 3 hours ago.
It's called a fat extraction injection, and when I was filling out the consent form, I was told that it's the same process as liposuction.
The only differences are that the cannula is thinner and it's done without an incision.
The hole made for the tube injection will leave behind a scar like an acne scar after it heals and will gradually fade and disappear. The swelling from the solution injection will last until the same day, and the bruising and swelling after the solution drains can last for 2-3 weeks, and Biobond can last for 3-4 weeks.
The process was design-anesthesia-injection of the fat-dissolving & anesthetic solution-waiting for about 15 minutes-extraction.
They kept telling me that the anesthesia might sting a bit and to tell me if it hurt, but it didn't hurt. It was
just like, oh, they gave me an injection?
Instead, the solution injection feels a bit uncomfortable.
Do they keep the tube in while I wait after injecting the solution? I wanted to, but I don't know the truth ㅋㅋ
During the extraction process, I felt like the fat layer or something was being torn apart.
They said my fat layer wasn't soft and was a bit tough, so maybe that's why they extracted 45cc.
An average person with a body type would extract 25-30cc, and when I was consulted, I was told that I didn't have a lot of fat, but that's how much came out.
It didn't hurt at all, and although the extraction process after the solution injection might have felt a bit uncomfortable, it wasn't unbearable.
Those who are considering double chin liposuction might want to consider extraction injections.
