's been 2 weeks since surgery!
I don't have a lot of fat on my face and I definitely have developed bones. I had a lot of concerns about my face shape since I was young due to my natural cheekbones and developed square jaw, but after saving up money and going to a consultation, I had surgery at Knott.
Before the consultation, I looked at reviews from this site and that site, looked at the hospital's official website, looked around, and chose about 4-5 hospitals. After going to the consultation in person, I considered the director's style that would suit me well, etc., and then chose the hospital.
I really wanted to have a front chin, and
I wanted to make sure I had a cheekbone and a square jaw, so in the end, I had a cheekbone, square jaw, cortical osteotomy, and masseter muscle resection.
The director also recommended 2 types rather than 3 types.
It didn't hurt too much right after the surgery, and it was a bit difficult to feel like I was throwing up. . My throat hurt like a coronavirus and I coughed a bit when it was dry. There was no bruising at the surgical site on the face, just a little on the lower part of the neck, but it quickly turned yellow and disappeared. I bought bruise cream in advance, but I didn’t need it. I had all the sensation, but the only areas that felt a little dull were under my eyes, lower lip, and front chin.
The swelling increased until the third day, and after that, the swelling started to go down. My mouth and the inside of my mouth were very swollen, so my teeth used to hurt a little, but as the swelling went down, the pain disappeared. Also, maybe
because I had a masseter muscle removed, sometimes it hurt like a cramp in my jaw, but it went away after about 8-9 days!
I ate New Care and porridge most of the time until the cheekbone stitches were removed in the first week.
It didn't hurt at all when the cheekbone stitches were removed, and it hurt a little when I took off the tape on my face.
From the first to second weeks, I ate more porridge, New Care, castella, steamed eggs, pudding, etc. Well
, it doesn't really swell, but personally, I've never had this much swelling in my face, so I thought it was a lot swollen, but when I went for treatment in the first week, I asked the person who treated me if I was swollen a lot, and he said no. It fell out quickly.
My lips got so big that it felt like they were about to burst, but maybe because I was in the habit of applying lip balm, my lips didn't chap or anything.
It hurt a little when the stitches were removed in the second week, but it wasn't an unbearable pain.
My mouth is wide open enough to fit a finger in.
There is still swelling and the sensation has not returned 100%, but the doctor said the surgery went smoothly, so let's wait. The
post-surgery photo was taken exactly on the 14th day.
