Surgery review (one month later)
0/ Contour shape
First of all, I had a very round face, but after removing the cheekbones, trimming the square jaw, and advancing the front chin, the overall shape became much slimmer. There is still swelling and the shape is bumpy, so this is going to go away, right..? Before the surgery, I never tied my hair, but now that my cheekbones are smooth, I think it's better to tie my hair up.
However, I previously had a severe chin and my cheekbones were a bit prominent, but my overall appearance has become smoother and slimmer. I'm hoping that the skin will stick a little tighter. The outline of the chin is not clear, so I'm still very nervous, and I feel anxious even though I'm waiting.
1/ Swelling
After the surgery, the swelling was so bad for a week that it was difficult to move around without a mask. About 10 days later, I had fat grafting done to my face. Although it looks a bit like a single person, it seems like I was able to go to work well without even being able to recognize the outline. The swelling went down a lot over the next 2 to 3 weeks, and now that it's been a month, there's no swelling under the eyes at all, but the swelling under the cheeks and candy bars is still severe, so my face feels a little bumpy. Still, it's not like it looks very awkward when others see it
. I had chin advancement surgery, but maybe it's because of the swelling, but the shape of my chin is awkward and it feels a bit like a witch's chin, so I think only time will tell. 2/ About
9 days after a month of
mouth opening and eating.
It's been a while, but you can still only fit one finger upright and it's a bit uncomfortable. When I open my mouth, my cheekbones still feel tight and painful. They say that doing a lot of chin stretching will help, but if you do it consistently, it will get wider... right?
3/ Side effects? Sagging cheeks?
Actually, it's too early to say it's a side effect, so I'm going to wait patiently, but in the current situation, it's difficult to determine whether the swelling under the cheek is swelling or sagging. I actually have a lot of stiffness and pain in my temporomandibular joint when I eat
. He said it was because he excised the masseter muscle. I will wait for now and if the pain continues, I will tell you in 3 months.
My face still doesn't look like mine because there are still a lot of lumps in my cheeks, but I think I'll only be able to figure this out as time passes.
