I received consultation for the purpose of removing wrinkles due to my habit of opening my eyes with my forehead and was recommended forehead lift reduction surgery.
I woke up from sedation during the surgery and underwent the surgery in a sober state for about an hour. I did not receive any special explanation.

Post-surgery 1, At the 3rd day visit, only the nurse reported the progress. On the 7th day, the nurse removed the stitches first and received medical attention for the first time after the surgery
. I was told that the sensation after the surgery would temporarily decrease, but it would return over time. However, from the day the stitches were removed after the surgery, the tightness in my forehead became worse and I was unable to go about my daily life. It becomes impossible.
I told the hospital that I was having a hard time, so I was prescribed anti-depressant and neuralgia medication
day by day.
I was even taking neuropsychiatric medication to get by. They told me to trust that it would get better if I waited 2-3 months, but there was almost no improvement!!
There was no explanation before the surgery about how much it would be reduced, so I thought they were only reducing the forehead skin due to wrinkles, but the actual length of my forehead was also shortened. It felt
tight and tight 24 hours a day, as if several layers of tape were attached to my forehead, and the sensation on the right side of my forehead was very dull
between my eyes and eyebrows. The distance was there before the surgery, but I was worried before the surgery... After the surgery, it became too long, and the eyebrows went up a long way above the eyebrow bone. The forehead got tighter, and it seemed to go in from the forehead, and the eyes protruded, making the profile look strange.
They said they would fix it with endotine, but later on. Looking at the record, it was fixed with Pickstein. The FDA approval is different and the price is different. When I asked why they didn't tell me, they said they use it differently depending on the need, but when I searched to see if it was a hospital that uses Endo, it said no.
It's a very difficult situation both functionally and cosmetically, but I think life can go on only when function returns.
I'm also looking into surgery because I can't open my eyes with my forehead. When I consulted with the doctor, it seemed like it would be simple, but I never thought it would be this difficult. It breaks my heart to know that I'm surviving with anti-depressants and nerve pain medication. It must have been painful to undergo the surgery with a sober mind. Ugh... the hospital has no apology or reflection... it's really too much.
