Hello, I am a person who underwent 2 types of contouring surgery (square jaw, cheekbones) by Dr. Jaehyun Kwon of Soda Plastic Surgery for 2 months!!
First of all, the reason I had the surgery is that my paternal side's bones (contour) itself were masculine and had a square jaw, and my maternal side's face had a lot of flesh and was round. When the two were combined, it was just a big square face with a lot of fat. So, since I was in elementary school, I had a complex, so I promised myself that I would have surgery
when I became an adult. I wanted to have it done when I was 20, but something came up, so I couldn't do it. This year, I really wanted to do it no matter what, so I checked out hospitals. I wanted to have the swelling go down to some extent before the start of college, so I did it in late January or early February. I thought so, but many hospitals were fully booked at that time. Meanwhile, Soda Plastic Surgery seemed to recognize my earnest desire and made a reservation for a same-day consultation..?! (In the beginning, there were almost no same-day consultations.) So I went there right away and got a consultation on the same day. I had to wait a really long time because it was a reservation. I met the director and received a consultation just when I was almost exhausted, and the director was very likable, friendly, and thorough!!!!!! I went to all the different hospitals for consultations and was trying to decide where to have the surgery, but I just had a consultation at the first hospital, Soda Plastic Surgery, on the same day, set a date, and made an appointment right away. I think that was good because they didn't unreasonably recommend excessive treatment or other surgeries!!
To write a brief review of the 2 months after the surgery,
on the day - 4 hours after the surgery were very difficult, there was pain in the early morning,
1st day - I kept waking up when I slept, sore throat and phlegm was no joke,
2nd day - I definitely woke up less when I slept, but the phlegm was no joke
(starting from the 2nd day) Started taking a walk)
Day 3 - Go to the hospital and get CT scan and receive care. Condition is good.
Day 4 - Yellow bruises and runny nose become worse.
Day 7 - Receive high frequency treatment and have stitches removed in mouth and cheekbones
. Day 8 - Voice finally becomes somewhat normal
(starting from day 8) (I don't go for walks because it's annoying)
3rd week - The bruises are almost gone (swelling is no joke)
1st month - A lot of swelling remains, but it just looks like cheeks
2nd month - The swelling has gone down a lot and my face has become smaller
I was a case where the swelling went down really slowly..ㅜ Of course. I guess it's because I rarely use heat and have only been able to walk for a few days... I only ate porridge for the first time, and from the second week onward, I think I just ate whatever I wanted. I didn't feel stressed about eating! I managed the swelling by drinking pumpkin juice and swelling medicine sold at the pharmacy.
The satisfaction after the surgery was really... I can't express it in words. I had a complex since I was very young and was thinking about having surgery, so even right after the surgery, it hurt so much that I thought I shouldn't have done it. I was very happy with the thought that I didn't have to wear a tuxedo mask, I didn't have to rush to cover up with my hair when the wind blew, I could tie my hair up when it was hot, and I could wear my bangs half-tied. The hospital was really clean, and I think the four after-care sessions were very helpful. ! I think one treatment helped a lot with the swelling.
After using it, I was very satisfied with the surgery, so it took a long time lol.. It's been 2 months since the surgery!! I am really enjoying my college life and no one knows I had surgery!!! I'm expecting the swelling to go down little by little for up to a year!! But I am still very satisfied, and I am so happy and satisfied that I can even divide my life into before and after contouring surgery!!
