1. Bone-cutting pain?
When I told my close friends that I had contoured, they all said they would be in pain because my facial bones were cut off. But the pain in the face bone is an ordeal that I can endure. I didn't feel like I was grinding my teeth at the dentist or anything. It's just throbbing as if you've been hit, and it's so uncomfortable to move your face while you're hospitalized? In my case, my cheekbones didn't hurt, and my square jaw hurt a little bit.
2. It was only after waking up from anesthesia after an unexpected ambush surgery that I realized that no one had told me about the pain on the day of surgery .
After general anesthesia, airway intubation is performed to maintain breathing, but this is the root of all evil. After the surgery, of course, you can't even dream through your nose, and you have to do it through your mouth. However, because of the airway intubation, my throat is already very sore. Breathing through my mouth here made me feel like I was going crazy because of the pain. Anyone who has ever had a very bad sore throat knows that. If your throat is severely swollen, it's very painful to swallow and breathe through your mouth, let alone talk. I just thought I would have to spend the night in that state. I feel sore and dry as if my throat is burning, but I can't even drink water because I fasted for 4 hours after the surgery.
+) As an aside, after the surgery, I lay on the operating table with my hair in a field of flowers without even knowing that I was packing my nose. So for the first 30 minutes when the ventilator wasn't removed, I thought it was because of the ventilator that I couldn't breathe through my nose. I can't pronounce it well because I'm in so much pain, so I ask how long I have to stay like this. He said he had to do it for another 30 minutes, so he counted to 1800 in his mind, wishing the pain would end. (There is no clock inside, so it's primitive) I took it out about 1491, but I still can't breathe through my nose... I couldn't sleep all night.
3. Hunger and hunger
In my case, I fasted for a long time before surgery. The hospital told me to fast for 8 hours, but I missed the timing to eat, so I fasted for 16 hours. I don't even drink much water. don't do that 4 hours after the surgery, they give me water and new care, but my mouth is full of blood... I breathe through my mouth... It's very difficult to eat. All my sleepless nights I thought about whether humans are animals that can breathe through their mouths and drink water at the same time. but can't Of course, being sick and hungry is a bit of an afterthought... But thirst is different. My throat and mouth are extremely dry, so if there is something like a dry mouth spray, ask if I can bring it.
4. Others Very short and minor pain
- Strange feeling when draining blood.
- Strange feeling when removing nose packing. But when this is over, I breathe through my nose, so there is a great sense of liberation.
