First of all, I had long curve excision rhinoplasty for the three-dimensional chin contour three months ago, and
during recovery, I noticed some asymmetry about a month ago, so I looked at it at first to see if it was swelling, but even though the swelling went down, it felt like my left chin had come down further. And when you wake up in the morning and have to yawn or open your mouth a little to eat? What happens when you make a sound and only you can hear it?
The swelling has gone down to some extent and consultation is possible, so I held on for up to 3 months and visited the hospital today to get a city photo. My anxiety was correct... When I
said I wanted to get a city photo when it was 2 weeks post-surgery and to see if the bone had swollen well, they didn't do it. ..They said the swelling would go down and I would have to take a picture, so I made an appointment and was anxious.. How can the hospital provide such poor follow-up care and be so irresponsible?... I took a picture today, and as
expected, there was a nonunion gaping in the left cheekbone from the front fixing pin. ,,,, I'm going to call again tomorrow and ask you to send me a picture to see how much it has grown.
Does the doctor grind his teeth as soon as he sits down? He asked me if I only chew on one side, and he said I only sleep on one side, and he said I never grind my teeth, I tend to chew on both sides, and I sleep on my back, so he talked about it as if it was my fault.
I think this is the most important part to check in the beginning to see if it is a hospital that takes city photos immediately after contouring surgery. Isn't that natural since it is bone surgery??? Shouldn't we check whether the surgery was successful, whether it was attached well, and whether the plate is in a good position?
The hospital is supposed to tell me to come in and see my progress, but how can I barely make an appointment and go and take the picture when I tell them to take the picture? The more I think about it, the more I feel disappointed by the hospital's irresponsibility, and they
said they would acknowledge the result and perform a reoperation, but they didn't do this. I'm so anxious and stressed that I want to do it right away, but they say it'll take 6 months before I can have the surgery again. And my nose is also bent, so I need to harvest costal cartilage and have the surgery again. Is that right for me to bear the cost of the revision surgery?
At the time of the nose surgery, I didn't like the side effects, so I went in with the idea of tying it with only the internal cartilage, but I had septum surgery when I was in high school (about 13 years ago, following my mom), so I had the surgery without knowing that there was no cartilage. (The doctor would take a picture of my nose in advance and look at it closely. I asked, "Do I need to have surgery?" and they said the cartilage wouldn't come out.
During the nose surgery, they woke me up and said that there was no nasal septum and that they had to urgently use silicone and mesh to do the surgery. I said I would understand and proceeded with the surgery,
but immediately after the surgery , I could see that my nose was crooked, but it was because of the continued swelling. I pointed out that it was crooked even when I had the splint on, but the staff said that the doctor said that the nose would need to wait for 3 months before I could consult, and kept saying that I should see it after 3 months, but in the end, I looked at it today and said again that it was crooked. I'm really angry, but I don't know if it's right to have a second surgery at the same hospital. I don't really want to do it at this hospital and I don't trust
it, so what should I do? I trusted him because I thought he was an experienced doctor, but the end result was that scars formed like scars and these side effects. I think I'm going to go crazy...
