On March 24th at Jonghun Noh Plastic Surgery Clinic, I underwent 3 types of contouring + cortical resection and muscle reduction surgery.
Noh Jong-Hoon Plastic Surgery Clinic has a system that takes the day after the surgery as the first day, sees progress on the 3rd, 8th, 14th, 5th, 2nd and 4th months, removes cheek stitches on the 8th day and mouth stitches on the 14th day. In addition, I was able to receive follow-up care up to 7 times within 2 months.

They say that the peak swelling on the 2nd and 4th days is on the 3rd and 4th days, but I didn't swell too much on the 1st and 2nd days, and on the 3rd and 4th days, there was really swelling. In particular, the lips were swollen enough to have no wrinkles.
There were yellow bruises all over the temples, around the eyes, and around the mouth, and there were red bruises along the chin line.
I had to take the medicine on time every 8 hours, but by the 2nd to 5th day, it was time to take the medicine, and when the medicine ran out, the pain was quite severe, and maybe it was because I had cortical resection and muscle reduction, especially the square jaw side was very painful. If you take the medicine, you will be fine again and repeat. When the medicine worked, it was okay if I stayed still, and when I touched the area of the cheekbones, square jaw, and front jaw, even if I touched it gently, there was pain.
At this time, my mouth was barely open as much as a finger, so I ate only barely seasoned things that I could pour into my mouth without chewing, such as liquids such as porridge, ice cream, soft tofu, and new care with a baby food spoon. I used a paper cup because I heard that using a straw is not good for liquids because it puts pressure on the sealing part of the mouth.
The hospital told me to sterilize my mouth with a gargle solution after eating and to gargle with water once an hour even if I don't eat food, but honestly, I gargle with a disinfectant solution once after eating, and water between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner. I only did it once or twice. Instead, I was wearing braces, so I think I tried to be very meticulous when I gargled once. Also, since this was just the beginning, when gargling, instead of blowing air in and out of the mouth, I turned my head back and forth to avoid irritation to the sutured area as much as possible. The gargle solution used in the 1st week was fine at first, but the smell gradually got worse, so it was a little difficult every time I gargled
. There is a Medifoam? attached to it, so even if it gets wet, you just need to dry it well.
The hospital said that taking a walk for 1-2 hours a day was helpful, but there were many days when I didn't go out of the house and I rarely went for walks...
Haha Noh Jong-Hoon Plastic Surgery Clinic worked well except for meals for a week after surgery. It is also recommended to wear a dagger at all times, so I worked diligently on it except when eating. However, there were times when I had a headache after wearing it for a long time, so there were times when I didn't wear it a little more before and after mealtime.
Until the 3rd day, I applied cold compresses for 20 to 30 minutes two or three times a day with the pack provided by the hospital.
The hospital where I slept for a week after surgery said that I could sleep lying down as long as my head was higher than my heart, but I continued to sleep sitting almost upright. Even when I was awake, I had nosebleeds, runny nose, cough, and phlegm intermittently, and my saliva leaked, but it was the same when I was sleeping. I did.
# Visiting on the 4th day
I had surgery on Thursday and the 3rd day was Sunday, so I visited the hospital on the 4th day, Monday, to see the progress.
After arriving at the hospital, the chief removed the taping and then dressed the cheekbone incision. gave it
After taking the Citi, the director explained the surgery results while looking at the Citi. At this time, I was very curious and anxious because I couldn't see the result visually because of the swelling, so the cheekbones and the front chin were well adhered and fixed, and the square I was very relieved to see that my chin was cut as well as I wanted, avoiding nerves. I ca
n't remember if I received follow-up on this day or not, but (I think I did...!) The follow-up was about 40 It consists of 1 minute high frequency, pack, and swelling laser.
> Days 5-8
I heard that the outline becomes really fat after just 5 days, but on the 6th day after the 5th day, my life was much more convenient in terms of swelling, pain, and food intake. In particular, I was uncomfortable with not being able to breathe easily due to runny nose or phlegm, but I think that has improved a lot and felt that way even more.
Looking back at this time as well as now, I can see that there was still a lot of puffiness on my cheekbones, but since the swelling gradually goes down, it doesn't look strange when I wear a mask. My cheeks were still full, and I was still very swollen, especially my upper lip. Still, from the 6th day, I felt the swelling go down day by day, and when I visited the hospital on the 8th day, the director said that maybe because I was young, the swelling tended to go down very quickly.
The yellow bruises were also much lighter in color, but there were still bruises overall, and the red bruises along the chin line seemed to be the last to fall out.
There was almost no pain when I was still, and sometimes my cheekbones hurt on one side or the front chin tingled. However, when I touched the cheekbones, square jaw, and front chin, even if I touched it gently, there was pain.
The mouth seemed to be able to open little by little, but it was really fine, so I still ate mainly porridge using a baby food spoon. However, when the week was over, I cut the boneless soy sauce chicken very finely and ate it. When I cut anything into small pieces, I almost didn't have to chew it, and if it was a food that wasn't that stimulating, I think I could recover quickly and eat better if I tried it carefully!
I was constantly gargling hard, and I was worried that my breath would smell bad because I couldn't brush my teeth, but since I mostly ate porridge or liquids that weren't seasoned, it didn't seem like that. It was still hard because the gargle fluid was disgusting...
There were days when I didn't go out for a walk, and I had to walk a lot at night in the cold wind to take an hour
. For a week, it was said to be worn well, including when sleeping, so I was wearing it pretty much except for mealtimes.
Also, like the cold compresses I did until the 3rd day, from the 4th day, I applied warm compresses for 20 to 30 minutes two or three times a day with the packs given by the hospital.
After sleeping, I put the doll on my back and slept, and after the 5th day, as I said before, nosebleeds, runny nose, and phlegm were less, so sleeping was more comfortable than before, and the number of awakenings seemed to have decreased a lot.
# Day
8 Visit On the 8th day, I visited the clinic to have cheek stitches removed.
When I arrived at the hospital, the chief removed the stitches on my cheekbones. There were many reviews saying that removing stitches on my cheekbones didn't hurt at all. I was patient, but it wasn't to the extent that I didn't feel it at all. After removing the stitches, I put on tape to prevent open wounds, not Medifoam...?
Afterwards, the director again checked the condition of the incision in the mouth, answered questions, and returned after receiving follow-up care.
In my memory, I also took Citi on this day and checked the progress by watching Citi with the director.
> Days
9-15 In the 2nd week after surgery, the swelling went down so quickly that it was clearly visible. As for the cheekbones, at that point, the swelling in the cheekbones had gone down to the point where I wondered if they were all gone, and by the end of the 2nd week, except for the slight convexity of the front cheeks like biting candy, the swelling was so low that other people would not even notice it even without a mask. was missing I wanted straight cheekbones, but I could see that the cheekbones were also straight, and the frontal effect of the square jaw was clearly visible, so even though there was swelling, the overall face felt smaller, and I liked the shape of the face. I did, and when I look at the picture again in the 2nd week, I can see that there is a lot of swelling left.
As for the bruises, the yellow bruises were all gone, and the red bruises along the chin line were also much lighter.
As before, the pain was almost non-existent when I was still, and sometimes the cheekbones hurt on one side or the front jaw tingled. Still, when I touched the cheekbones, square chin, and front chin, it was less painful than the first week, but there was pain.
The mouth was definitely more open than at week 1, but still had about a finger in it, so I continued to use the baby spoon. At this time, after eating mainly thin food or liquids for more than a week after the operation, I had severe diarrhea, so I started eating a normal diet while taking the medicine and antidiarrheal prescribed by the hospital. I ate porridge without asking for it to be thinned, and I usually ate rice rolled into soup, such as seaweed soup or chopped galbitang. Also, I didn't chew at all until the 1st week, but by the 2nd week, I was able to chew very carefully, so I cut up some seasoned foods such as kimchi and jangjorim, but I did not feel any irritation until the stitches in my mouth were removed. I didn't eat phosphorus foods. I think I ate a lot of soft bread like sliced bread, sandwiches, and donuts!
I didn't feel disgusted with the gargle since I started using a different disinfectant from the 2nd week, but I ate more variety of seasoned foods than before, so I felt uncomfortable in my mouth, so I gargled harder.
I still tried to do the hot compress and hot compress, but because of the inconvenience and laziness... I couldn't work as hard as before.
In the 2nd week, I slept on my back, and it seems that I slept well with almost no waking. I used to sleep on my side, so I was worried because there were a lot of times when I woke up, but the director said it was okay because I pinned my cheekbones to that extent, so I was relieved.
# Visit on day 15
Originally, the stitches in the mouth are removed on the 14th day, but I visited the hospital on the 15th day to have stitches removed in the mouth.
I was a little worried because it was said that removing stitches in my mouth was very painful, but I think I felt more relieved at the thought of finally being able to get out of the discomfort and being able to eat something delicious. Rather, the stitches in my mouth were not as painful as I saw in the latter half, and I was tolerable. I still had swelling in my mouth, so I couldn't completely remove the stitches on the day, but the rest of the stitches fell out as I lived, or when I visited later, the director removed them from time to time.
On this day, I did not see the director, but the manager answered my questions and returned after receiving follow-up care.
I thought I would eat a lot of spicy food immediately after removing the stitches in my mouth, but I was worried that I would get irritated myself, so I didn't.
I was able to recover safely for 2 weeks because the directors and directors frequently looked at the progress and handled the post-operative care for the questions and anxieties that arose during the two weeks after surgery. I think I was able to focus on my recovery with peace of mind. I was satisfied with the fact that the teacher who also manages the follow-up care of Noh Jong-Hoon Plastic Surgery Clinic always asked me if there were any areas I was concerned about and seemed to take care of them one-on-one for a long time every time I went. Afterwards, I will write a review of the 1st and 2nd months of surgery soon'^'!!
