The two months after the surgery were really difficult, but I was very satisfied
as I saw the swelling gradually go down and my bite became more aligned
. I have an open bite, so I can use my front teeth, which I couldn't use before, and now I don't sleep with my mouth open even when I get a good night's sleep.

After about a year, I got greedy and had lateral cheekbone surgery, which was 100% cosmetic, at Takapo Dental Clinic.
Less than a week after my cheekbone surgery, I very carefully ate a soft, regular diet and didn't experience much discomfort.
When I opened my mouth wide, I heard a pin noise (?) that sounded like something was grinding, so I was a little anxious, but as time went by, the bone seemed to have healed, so
it didn't make that sound. It's not a big deal because I don't have to open my mouth wide in my daily life, but I feel a lot of stiffness when I open my mouth.
It's a bit difficult, but overall I'm satisfied with the rest.
If there is someone around you who is thinking about surgery, I recommend that they do it as soon as possible.
Because personal satisfaction is that high.
