I had the surgery at the end of February 2017, so it's been over 2 years.
I went to all the famous hospitals for consultation, but I wasn't sure until I found this place by chance and went there. They said that since they can see the outline during the surgery through fluoroscopy, they don't touch the nerves and don't do the surgery in two places. I liked the surgical method, so I decided to have the surgery there, and the cost wasn't over 1,000. I think it was around 900.
They made an incision inside the mouth and under the chin. Because of the incision under the chin, it looked like a keloid, but now it's almost gone.
After the surgery, I only ate To-O-Ta ion therapy. It hurt so much that I couldn't open my mouth. I drank only electrolyte drinks for about 4 days, and then ate pumpkin porridge with a teaspoon for a week (because my jaw would only open enough to fit a teaspoon). I wore a mask for a month and kept having dandruff. My cheekbones swelled up to my chin and my face felt really heavy.
It's been over 2 years, but honestly, if I don't tell anyone, no one will know that I had the surgery ㅋㅋㅋ But sometimes my cheekbones hurt or my chin feels tingly. Even after 2 years, I sometimes think I did a bad job with my cheekbones, but I don't regret my chin.
+) Oh, and people who get facial contouring say that their lower teeth are more visible than before because their mandibles are shorter. I think that's true.
