It has been 10 years since I received Chevin cheekbone reduction surgery from Dr. Jang Ho at Small Face Plastic Surgery.
The results of the surgery are satisfactory.
What is commonly expected after facial contouring is sagging cheeks. Since I knew that cheek pain would inevitably follow, I don't want to make an issue of that. But I don't only have saggy cheeks. After cheekbone surgery, I had unwanted wrinkles. That's because wrinkles appear between the nose and cheekbones, under the eyes, in areas that don't normally have wrinkles on the human face. I had fat grafting done at the same time as cheekbone surgery. Is it because of the transplanted fat? Or is it muscle damage during surgery? No, I don't know if the problem is caused by muscle and skin tissue adhesion after surgery. However, after the surgery, I felt something hard under my eyes between my nose and cheekbones, and I thought it was because there was a lump of fatty tissue. There is nothing wrong when you don't move your facial muscles. Wrinkles form whenever the facial muscles move.
So when you smile, wrinkles form very deeply.
I'm so upset because of that. I can't laugh.
Especially when taking pictures, I can't take pictures with a smiling face.
I wonder if anyone has the same case as me.
Another problem is that when you smile, your cheeks become lighter. Why is that so?
And one more thing! When eating, the jawbone moves below the temple, which looks ugly. They say the bones come in and out. Even when I look at it, it’s disgusting. ㅠㅠ
I did it 10 years ago. I don't know how much technology has improved now. If you are thinking about cheekbone reduction, I am writing this because I think it may be helpful to know this.
Still, I do not regret having the surgery.
More than the stress I'm experiencing right now.
I have no regrets because my complex about being a clown was even worse at that time.
It would have been better if this phenomenon had not occurred.
Still, I cherish and love my face and wonder how I can fix that part in the future. I guess I should just live with it.
This time, I went to the hospital to find out more about the cause of wrinkles. I'm trying to fix it. If you know of a case like mine, please give me some advice.
Thank you for reading this long article.
