I had surgery on April 30th and
it's been over a month and a half now.
I had surgery with 4 incisions inside the mouth and 1 incision under the chin. I had
a wide-body non-fixed chin and a round-cut.
First of all, the swelling has gone down a lot since the first month,
and the fat under the chin seems to be going down little by little every day! I didn't do much to manage the swelling, but compared to other people (looking at the reviews), it seems like the swelling didn't go down easily.
But if I tell you about the management I did,
I took a half-body bath, ate Omega, drank a lot of water, and took anti-swelling medicine later. When the swelling was severe at first, don't drink a lot of water for a week to two weeks, and when you don't have to do steaming!? I think it's good to drink a lot of water.
I don't drink water because of the peculiar smell of water,
but they say that drinking water and urinating helps excrete waste and burn calories. So I drank a lot and went to the bathroom often, and it went down!
And I thought it would go down faster because I took 10 days off and went to work (standing up), but it seems like time is the only cure.
However, since the swelling lasts too long, it is said that it also causes problems with skin elasticity,
so I hope you try it no matter what! I also got liposuction under my chin, so
only biobond remains under my chin!
Oh, and there is a little bit of candy swelling?
My mouth can only open two fingers wide when I stand it up. I don't know how long it will open more. ㅠ
I got double-eyelid rhinoplasty, but I usually have a lot of swelling after surgery. I'm not a plastic surgeon, but when I got rhinoplasty, my avatar nose lasted a long time. ㅋㅋ
But now, I'm satisfied with my facial contour after a month and a half!
Oh, and I found out that there's a skin care shop in Suwon that specializes in high-frequency treatment and swelling after surgery. I haven't been there because it's too far away, but if you live nearby, you might want to look into it. I saw the blog, but I can't remember the exact search terms ㅠ I think it was a personal skin care shop, but I saw a review where the swelling went down quickly, so just
use that as a reference. And after a month of chewing, they told me to go on to stage 1, a regular diet, so I've been eating little by little, but in fact, it doesn't seem to be little by little. When I think I can eat, I finish eating and my head screams no, but my chin doesn't stop and I keep chewing ㅠㅠㅋㅋ I'm trying not to chew too hard....
(The hospital here is not fixed, so I think the chewing period that I have to be careful of is longer.)
When I open my mouth when I brush my teeth in the morning, my cheekbone only hurts on one side. But that only happens in the morning. It doesn't happen when I eat or yawn.
The foods I ate when I first had to only eat liquids were
chicken porridge, ramen porridge, kimchi porridge, soy milk, pumpkin porridge
, and when I really wanted something like snacks, I cut up a small piece of chocolate and melted it and ate it.
As for the copper and cookies, from my experience, you can make satto rice.
Since I like chocolate, I tried the chocolate cone (a banana kick shaped cone), but my mouth wouldn't open so I couldn't eat it.
And the castella donut, sweet potato salad, and potato salad are okay.
Since what you can eat is limited when you're on a liquid diet, it
was really hard. And when you're tired of making porridge, you can buy a no-brand frozen porridge and boil it.
From now on, there will be a lot of case-specific questions, and I'll answer the questions that I was curious about too!
And from the first day, I've never had blood phlegm, and my cheeks were puffy?! This kind of sound was a little loud at the beginning, but
he said that the sound would only happen at the beginning.
And there was a sound when I got the molding done too. It wasn't enough to be bothersome, and it went away after a few hours.
There was no cheekbone sagging, but when I had the last molding, I was a little more concerned about one side, so he put in a little more, and a slight sagging occurred then. By the way, the doctor told me not to do it. I regret it,
and it's not that bad, but there is a little bit. When I told the director about this, he said that I would have to see the progress when I go in 3 months after the surgery. He said that it could be because I didn't use my masticatory muscles much. And I went in 3 times to check the progress after the surgery!?
The doctor was so serious and looked at me in detail every time
. I
think I can say that this place is the best.
Every time I go, they take X-rays, check the progress, and do the molding, but
they don't do it half-heartedly. After listening to everything I said, I didn't ask about the CT scan, but
they told me to get a CT scan first. Even though the consultation was long, they answered all of my questions and took care of me.
I had a lot of swelling, so I didn't get it done for a long time, but I thought it might be because the swelling went down more after that. That's because while other people have swelling in the front of their V-line, I had square-shaped swelling.
Also, I slept sitting up for almost a month. Since the sofa is a recliner, it's comfortable to sleep with a pillow and a neck pillow behind me and a cushion under my lower back.
A few days ago, after a month, I started sleeping on my side. I'm still anxious, but I think it'll be okay...^_^;
Oh! And right after the surgery, I had a tingling sensation under my chin (it felt like a nerve was being pressed on my lower jaw). It went away when I stayed still, but there was a tingling area when I touched it lightly.
They said that it could be because my chin was as close to the nerve as possible. Now, it's not completely gone, but it's gone to the point where it doesn't bother me!
And I started smoking after 2 weeks and
it was fine haha
In conclusion, did the surgery go well?
It's hard to confirm the exact union of the cheekbones right now, so we'll find out at the end of July. Just looking at the chin, it turned out well, as I always did with Photoshop to reduce it just enough. I like it. Everyone has their own complex that others don't care about, right? That's been resolved. If the cheekbones union goes well, I'll be 100% satisfied. I
'm satisfied because there are no particular side effects (so far)!
I still have a scar under my chin, but I don't have anything to show to others, so it's not visible and it's okay.
And I was worried that many people would recognize me after the surgery, but
if you're sensitive, you'll notice and most people won't recognize me.
I don't have a particularly bad clown, so I think that's why
. What changed?? They couldn't find it. They just said I got botox.
At first, I only looked into T-bone
reduction, but I was really worried about getting
it done in a circular motion. But I didn't want pins to be left on my face,
so I got it done in a circular motion and I'm satisfied
.
One thing I want to tell you
is that since it's a hospital-level procedure, they said that if there's an emergency, you can take an ambulance that the hospital has, but
when I went to the parking lot, it was parked in a corner like an unused car. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I still wanted to tell you. And there aren't many employees, just two managers (counters), two medical staff, and one director. So it seems like it's run more like a family atmosphere?
I wrote this in a haphazard manner because I wanted to tell you about this and that, but if you have any questions, I'll let you know!
