It's been a month since I had square jaw and cheekbone surgery!
I've always been concerned about my wide, angular jaw, and asymmetrical cheekbones, so my friend and I went to about 4 hospitals for consultations. Other hospitals told me that I had a protruding jaw and recommended 3 types + some hospitals even told me to do fat grafting.
Contouring Standards was the last place I visited, and they didn't really have any recommendations but said that I could do whatever I wanted. I liked their words and attitude, which were neither proactive nor passive. They also said that since my protruding jaw wasn't that bad and it didn't feel noticeable, I think only 2 types would be enough!
Since Goguryeo Jeongseok opened not too long ago and the price was cheaper than other hospitals, I searched more just in case, but I thought it would be better to go to the director rather than the hospital, so I looked it up and the reviews were good, so I decided on Goguryeo Jeongseok.
After the surgery, the asymmetry and the angular feeling have definitely been smoothed out a lot, and the wide feeling has also been reduced, but it's still swollen, so I'm not 100% satisfied, but this is swelling, so I'll have to wait and see for 3 months!! It didn't
hurt as much as I thought after the surgery, and my jaw hurt a little right after the surgery? Other than that, I was able to talk better and close my mouth better than I thought on the day of the surgery, so it was better than I worried. I had a hard time because I couldn't eat well for 2 weeks, but now I can eat well except for things that I have to open my mouth wide to eat or things that are really hard and chewy. When I put on makeup, it just feels like I've gained weight on my face, so I'm waiting for time to pass while I'm satisfied!!
