I'm writing this because I'm bored at work.
The day of the surgery: I didn't feel it until the day before the surgery, and I didn't think about anything or prepare anything, but it started to feel real for the first time when I disinfected my mouth with Hexa and got dressed. I
was so nervous because I was lying on the operating table without any mental preparation, and I almost hyperventilated a little because I thought, "Is this how they're going to do the surgery?" (That's how it was originally...)
The doctors calmed me down by telling me to take deep breaths slowly, and I regained consciousness when they told me that I would feel dizzy and woke me up.
A male doctor came in and put me in a wheelchair, and I was taken to the recovery room. I was a little out of it because of the pressure on my face rather than the pain.
However, I'm someone who quickly regains consciousness even under anesthesia, so I started talking on my phone in less than 5 minutes.... ㅋㅋㅋ
As I sat and watched the mountain alone, I heard the sound of the next patient going into surgery, and the doctors came every now and then to check the v/s. Everything was normal.
My spo2 was fine, so I took off my mask right away.
After that, the sore throat from the general anesthesia was the hardest. Even after it was over, I couldn't drink water for a long time...
Phew, I had to go to the bathroom a lot because I got a lot of IV fluid... I went there and back by myself very bravely ㅎㅎ
After that, I just waited for the time to go to bed while getting painkillers, but I have insomnia even if I just sleep, so I couldn't sleep most of the night...
But the doctor on duty was very kind and took good care of me throughout the night.
Day 2: I wasn't that hungry, but since I had been starving for the second day, I really wanted to go home and eat something.
At 10, the director came to remove the stoma, but I told him that I thought I was going to vomit because I was so nervous or because of the anesthesia, and he
checked my pulse and laid me down to calm me down, so I finished safely.
As I said above, I only brought my phone charger and nothing else, such as a hat or hood, so I just took a taxi... My own money...
But since my swelling was wrapped like a bandage, I don't think the hat or mask would have been of any use anyway, so I recommend just taking the medicine and taking a taxi quickly...
Anyway, I came home and waited for 2 o'clock... I fasted the day before the surgery and didn't eat until the afternoon of the second day..
At the stroke of 2 o'clock, I ordered porridge and ate one serving with baby's fingers.
After that, I brushed my teeth and took my medicine.
I bought some Ellas A at the pharmacy and took it for a week, and now I've switched to Newvein and swelling tea.!
Maybe that's why I don't have much swelling!
Day 3~: Even though I sleep in the cold with the air conditioning on because I took the swelling medicine, I sweat a lot and peed a lot. ㅋㅋ
I think I woke up every 3 hours to go to the bathroom?
And as I said, I originally had trouble sleeping, so I just slept with two pillows...
I think I walked about 5,000 steps a day on average, not much... It's so hot..
Everyone should get surgery in the winter,,,,
I always miss going to the hospital, so when I go out, I buy a small black hat from Coupang and wear it with a hat and a mask. It would be good to buy one, everyone!
After that, it's just a repeating routine, so nothing special!
My family said that it's going to go away day by day with walking + anti-inflammatory medicine! It's still going away steadily!
There's still a lot of swelling, but my face has definitely gotten smaller ㅠㅠ Right now, I have a little bit of candy swelling and a lot of swelling under my chin,
so it's hard swelling ㅠ That's why I'm trying to do hot compresses often..
I'm eating everything except the things I can't eat ㅋㅋ Meat, Vietnamese spring rolls, ramen... chicken.. Good children, don't follow me. I
haven't been able to get my stitches removed yet because it's the holidays, but I'm still brushing my teeth ㅋ Coupang has a children's toothbrush for around 1,000 won! Recommended!
People around me said it went so well and said they wanted to do it after seeing me do it. Haha. I wish I had done it when I was a year younger instead of worrying about it!
Right now, my right jaw feels numb and tingly, but it's not really inconvenient in my daily life. I want the swelling to go down soon so I can go out and play after getting a full facelift~
I'll take a lot of pictures~ and
upload some pictures in a few days~
