 My mother had a facelift surgery two weeks ago.
She was depressed because she looked in the mirror a lot since she was in her 60s. She said that she
looked older than she was because her cheeks and chin area were sagging,
so she started looking into facial contouring surgery.
I narrowed it down to about 5 hospitals
that were famous for contouring and went for consultations while selling my plastic surgery community
. Samsa-o was the second hospital I consulted with, and on the way out after consulting with the director,
my mother said that she didn’t want to go to another hospital and just wanted to get it done here. There
were still 3 places left, so I tried to convince her to get it done at all of them before deciding, but
she decided to get it done at Director Han Gyu-nam. She
said that she trusted me because he touched the area where the surgery was to be done and told her about
the characteristics of her face shape and
the areas that would improve after the surgery. So she got the surgery, but she had a hard time on the first day, and from the next day, she was able to eat and
go about her daily life without any problems. She said that her face felt a little tight,
but I think it was because she was recovering. Looking at the photos taken before the surgery,
the lifting effect was definitely dramatic. And my mom had an asymmetrical left lip that
was a bit more sagging, but now it’s balanced, and she was originally born with a slanted
ear, but she was corrected to a pretty shape after the surgery. I was worried that the surgical site would be noticeable,
but since she has permed hair, it’s covered by her hair so it’s barely noticeable.
She’s taking care of it
by applying a thin layer of prescribed ointment morning and night and feeling tight for an hour or two before it
turns blue. It’s different for everyone, but they said it would be very swollen until the third day, but my mom didn’t have much swelling and
almost no bruising. She hasn’t gone out much yet, but
neighbors like the supermarket lady were surprised when they saw her. She said
it didn’t show much and she looked younger, haha. So she’s secretly happy.
Even I don’t think my mom has changed or gotten younger after the surgery, but
it’s amazing to see her face from 10 years ago. That’s why I was worried, but
I think it was a good decision to have the surgery. She still has some time to recover, but my mom and I are both very satisfied!
