I had 2 types of contouring (square jaw + chin advancement), cortical osteotomy, and masseter muscle reduction!
It's already been a month since I had the surgery!
At first, I thought time passed by so slowly, but these days, time passes so quickly, and I live for looking at my face shape that has become pretty after plastic surgery
. I've been stressed out every day looking at my chin that has become more and more angular since I was a student. When I look at my graduation photos or photos taken by my friends, I just hated how square my face looked like a Lego toy.
At first, I was satisfying myself vicariously by photoshopping photos of my square jaw, which was my complex, but photoshopping was becoming too much of a hassle, and looking at myself working hard to reduce my square jaw suddenly made me feel pathetic
. I wanted to experience the pretty jawlines and fist-sized faces of the pretty celebrities on TV.
After much deliberation, I decided to get contouring surgery.
So I searched social media and asked many people around me. I heard that my close friend's older sister had been the head of a plastic surgery consulting department for a long time, so I asked her for a recommendation and she said,
"Go see Dr. Park Jong-rim." After that
, I searched the Internet and found out that Director Park Jong-rim of SSS is so good at contouring that he is called my second father. The hospital atmosphere is also so nice and the nurses are so kind, so I ended up getting contouring at SSS.
After consulting with the director, I told him that I wanted to have a perfect oval-shaped face, and since I have a flat chin and a rectangular face, he recommended a surgery method that would fit my face.
As the director said, I have a flat chin. It was a complete reversal.
After the surgery, I got asked a lot of questions like, "Your appearance has changed," "You've become a lot prettier," "Have you lost weight?" and "Did you get the procedure done?"
These days, when I look in the mirror, I'm so, so, so happy.
I regret not having done it sooner, and I'm so glad that I did it now. I thought it was fortunate
. When I woke up from anesthesia right after the surgery, I didn't swell at all and it didn't hurt at all, so I thought I had plastic surgery constitution, but in the evening, I had a lot of phlegm because of the general anesthesia, so it was difficult.
After being discharged, on the third day, my face swelled to the point where I thought, "This is how swollen my face is!" I read the reviews carefully, so I wasn't worried about the swelling. And it wasn't as swollen as I expected!
After a week, the swelling went down just like the reviews said.
I washed my face and carefully touched the surgical site, and the bone had definitely shrunk.
I was so, so happy that I had leftover foam cleansing.
I stopped using Photoshop, which I used to do every day, and
I don't use the camera that I edited much.
These days, I'm really enjoying taking pictures with a basic camera!
I'll live every day grateful to Director Park Jong-rim, who gave me a second life. Thank you so, so much.
