This is a review of one month of chin advancement surgery at Yangyun Dol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Clinic! I was stressed by the fact that I looked chubby due to my severe chin and that my profile looked convex. While looking for a solution, I learned about chin augmentation and decided to have the surgery. A detailed consultation was provided based on the CT scan, and the side effects were clearly explained, which gave me confidence. The pain was severe right after the surgery, but it got better the next day. I was worried at first because my mouth couldn't open wide, but it got better after about 2 weeks. Jaw sensation is gradually recovering. Now that it's been 1 month, the swelling has gone down a lot and the chin's shape has become more natural compared to immediately after surgery or 1 or 2 weeks after surgery. After undergoing chin advancement surgery, the stress on my profile was reduced. The originally severe asymmetry was greatly corrected during the surgery. I am very satisfied with the fact that my cheekbones look less prominent now that I have a chin. I will take good care of it, including using warm compresses, until the next 3-month visit.
