- Since I'm from the countryside, at first it was burdensome to go all the way to Seoul and I thought I could get double eyelid surgery in the countryside, so I got it done at a local hospital (I was naive.. ㅋ If I could turn back time, I really would not have gone to that hospital.)
- Seriously, really, really.. I said I didn't want to be greedy and just wanted to get double eyelids done with an in-out method. But from the beginning, my eyelids were uneven and the hospital only said it would be resolved once the swelling went down, so I was really frustrated. In the end, no matter how much time passed, it was the same. ㅋ The left is in-out and the right is semi-out, but even that was because my eyes looked smaller even after double eyelid surgery because they were sausage-shaped. It's like only the lines were created. Stepping stone
for revision surgery: I visited many famous hospitals in Seoul (4 including the hospital where I had the surgery)
- Since it was a revision surgery, I looked into it very carefully because of the cost + worry + time burden. Even when I went for a consultation, I didn't make a decision right away and just listened to the detailed explanation + cost.
- If I were to explain the consultation about the hospital where I had the surgery.. Why did my eyes look like sausages instead of the director who just made the lines? It was good that they found the cause first. Since I said I wanted to lower the line and make it in-out, since both of my eyes are swollen now, they adjusted the line with an incision and opened my eyes with my forehead muscles, so they recommended that I also get eye correction. The consultation was also very long.
★★ The fact that it is an eye specialty hospital (especially the cases before and after the re-surgery were good), the fact that it is a one-person hospital so there is no proxy surgery, and the consultation was not just about setting the line and finishing it, but the explanation was thorough and good, and the aftercare was diverse so the burden of the re-surgery was a little less. ★★
Re-surgery method: Incision + eye correction
- The director carefully adjusted the line again on the day of the surgery. The design was very meticulous
. - On the first day, I had a yellow bruise and my eyes felt sore when I opened and closed them, but they thought that recovery was important, so instead of worrying, they diligently gave me a compress and took me for a walk whenever they had time.
- Every time I went to the hospital for treatment and disinfection, they applied eye ointment and used a laser for the swelling. (During the consultation, I felt that this wasn't a place that just said they had a lot of aftercare)
- The director said that I should sleep with my head slightly elevated to recover quickly, so I listened to what she said. ㅋㅋ The bruise went away for about a week, and I didn't have to worry too much for the next week. For now, I was satisfied that I was able to get the in-out results I wanted.....
I think this hospital shattered all my thoughts about whether I had to get plastic surgery in Seoul. Of course, this place specializes in eyes, and the AS and aftercare system are better than other places, so I think I benefited..... Anyway, I'm still recovering, but I'm so satisfied that my line has been lowered ㅜㅜ
