It seems like there are still many people who think too negatively about double eyelid surgery and get it done, so I'm going to personally take out pictures of myself when I failed my double eyelid surgery and show them to you.
Like everyone else, I simply wanted to "make my eyes bigger" so I got lower eyelid surgery. But I didn't think much and ended up failing and getting entropion.
There seem to be a lot of reviews for front eyelid surgery but not many for lower eyelid surgery, so I'm writing a review in case it helps other ordinary people who are having the same concerns as me
. As you can see in the pictures of my eyes wide open before the surgery, my lower eyelashes would curl up day by day, and these eyelashes would keep poking my eyes, to the point where tears would stream down my eyes at random times. It was to the point where it was interfering with my daily life;;
I just wanted my eyes to get bigger and look prettier, so I'm really upset that it ended up like this. These days, there are many reactions like, "Eye surgery isn't surgery at all~", but I also thought too complacently, and I think that thinking eventually led to these side effects.
Anyway, I couldn't continue living like this, so I looked up reviews of entropion surgery and found a hospital that specialized in eyes and handled a lot of difficult reoperations like restoration, so I decided to get the surgery. Since I'm from the countryside, I called and asked if same-day surgery was possible, so I went right away and it took about 3 hours and 20 minutes from arrival at the hospital to recovery (the surgery took 40 minutes).
Actually, I know that entropion is treated more at ophthalmology clinics than plastic surgery clinics, but I couldn't give up on aesthetic reasons, so I got it done at a plastic surgery clinic. As soon as the director looked at my eyes, he said that he needed to slightly loosen up the severely dried-out lower eyelid, and he respected my opinion as much as possible and set the direction to only correct the eye shape and entropion while maintaining the lower eyelid as much as possible.
My eyes were slightly irritated right after the surgery, but it got better after taking the prescribed medicine, and the week after, there was a little redness under my eyes, but I don't think there was much discomfort! If you do entropion and lower eyelid ptosis restoration together, your sagging skin will disappear~ There's a saying that goes like this, but hmm..... I guess it's all due to skill? I don't have anything missing, and more than 80% of my lower eyelashes are still alive, so it feels the same.
The scar from the restoration surgery is gradually fading, and the hospital said it would be okay if I continued to take good care of the scar, so I'm not going to stress anymore and I'm going to take good care of it. Honestly, since the excessive bulging is gone, the size of my eyes themselves are smaller than before, but people around me say that it looks much better and more natural. There's no guarantee that ptosis will always be successful, so I hope that even ordinary people will carefully research and get the surgery.
I attached the before and after pictures so that you can compare them clearly. If you get surgery, I hope that you go to a director who specializes in eyes and has a lot of surgery cases. After lower eyelid ptosis restoration, I feel good and my eyes don't look awkward anymore when I smile. I hope that everyone has a successful plastic surgery!
