The surgery itself was not bad, but I had some unpleasant experiences, so I will write about this.
1. Long waiting time
. Surgery reservation at 3:30, waiting until almost 4:50.
I heard that they only do two surgeries a day, but the waiting time was really long because of the consultation reservation.
The time from the design consultation to the surgery was almost 5:30, and
the surgery was over at 7:00.
2. Anesthesia was not done properly.
The Ringer's needle was inserted incorrectly, so general anesthesia was not done properly.
I told them twice that the anesthesia was not done, but the nurse told me not to talk and to just stay still and I would fall asleep. The
anesthesia was not done, but local anesthesia was done on the eye area. When I said it hurt, they checked the Ringer's needle. The blood vessel
had burst and my arm was very swollen, so they put the needle back in my other arm and anesthetized me (I think I ended up just doing it without anesthesia).
I was anxious and felt a tingling sensation the whole time I was having the surgery, and it was very painful.
(I have had general anesthesia twice, and I fell asleep both times. It's not that anesthesia is not good.)
3. Insufficient Recovery time
I felt nauseous and dizzy
after the surgery because the anesthesia was not administered properly and a lot of anesthesia was administered. I
was lying down in the recovery room and resting for about 10 minutes? when a nurse came and forcibly told me to get up.
When I said I was still dizzy and thought it would be difficult to walk, she said it was okay and forced me to go home.
It was 7 PM at the time, and it was the hospital closing time, so I think she forced me to go home because I had to leave work.
I understand that, but if everything had gone well during the appointment time, I don't think this problem would have occurred.
Overall, the staff and the director were very kind and nice during the consultation, so I chose this hospital, but
on the day of the surgery, I felt uncomfortable because they were not skilled enough to do this. To be honest, if I had known this would happen, I would have gone to another hospital. Even though
the price was about 1 million won more expensive than other hospitals, I decided to have the surgery here because it is a one-person hospital and they only do two surgeries a day, but
I didn't feel any particular merit. I will have to wait and see the results of the surgery, but I
don't think I would recommend it to an acquaintance who is having it here.
