It was hard to find detailed reviews before the surgery, so I'm writing a review for those who were worried like me~~
(I originally didn't plan on writing a review, so I don't have any photos taken right after/after the surgery..)
(1) Consultation
I consulted with the consulting room manager-director-consulting room manager in that order, and the consulting room manager seemed kind, but he was also very strong and pushed me, so I felt a bit burdened. He pushed me to set a surgery date quickly.
The consulting room manager was blunt, but he didn't force me to do other procedures and only gave me advice on the surgery I wanted. He wasn't friendly, but the consultation itself felt clean. (He recommended epicanthoplasty because of my Mongolian folds, but he didn't say anything more because I had to get back to my daily life.)
I think there was a consultation fee, but if you set a surgery date right away, there's no consultation fee.
(2) Surgery
I was able to set a surgery date really quickly (there were no customers on the day of the consultation and on the day of the surgery..)
The surgery took about 30 minutes and was done really quickly with local anesthesia.
Office workers say they do it during their lunch hour, but it doesn’t seem to be that easy lol.
When they administer local anesthesia, it hurts strongly once or twice, but it doesn’t hurt at all after that. They tell me to look my eyes up and down to the right and left, but it was harder to keep looking up. I don’t even know when the surgery started. I keep thinking, “What am I doing…?” and then in the middle of that, I feel something pulling with a thread. After the surgery, I rested in bed with an ice pack and was discharged.
(3) Whether I can go about my daily life after the surgery
? On the day of the surgery, there was no swelling and the surgical site was clean, so I had no problems with my daily life (I did have a headache, whether it was because of the anesthesia or because I was nervous). From the second day, my eyes started to swell, but
since only my eyes were swollen and there were no scars or stitches, I think people who don’t swell much can go to work. The stitches look like eyelashes.
I have a constitution that swells easily, so I was pretty swollen until the third day, so I thought it was good that I took the weekend and went to work on the fourth day.
I don’t know what I did, but a lot of people asked why my eyes were so swollen and where it hurt. It was embarrassing because it was like that until they took the stitches out.. But it was to the point where people would understand if I pretended my face was swollen because I had a cold.
(4) The friendliness of
the consultation room manager and the director was the same from the first day, until the day of the surgery, and until the day the stitches were taken out. (The director was blunt, the consultation room manager seemed kind but was still strong)
The desk clerk was very kind on the day of the consultation and the day of the surgery, but she was kind of cold the day I went to get the stitches taken out
. (5)
Some people say that the facility is not that great because it’s an old building, but I was fine. It was okay.
(6) The surgery cost
is 600,000 won per team, so the Wonder Team double eyelid surgery + lowering the outer corner of the eyes is 1.32 million won including VAT (When I looked it up, there were so many things like 60 per team, 60 per area, and just 60, so I was confused, but that’s how I gave it.)
(7) The results of the surgery Immediately
after the surgery, about a week after the stitches were removed, the satisfaction was incredibly high. Since my eyes were already droopy, I didn’t expect a gentle impression and was worried that my eyes would become more droopy. But it feels like it only grew longer horizontally than I thought. I
was worried because the red flesh was visible at the outer corner of my eyes for about a month, but it’s not visible now. But the surgery effect is gone now. It’s almost back lol.. Still,
my outer corners are sharp and alive and there were no side effects, so I’m thinking of getting another surgery. My eyes smile well, my eyes don’t get sore, and my eyes can close completely.
I'm thinking about getting a second surgery along with the anterior tibialis since they said I can get it done within a year after 6 months... but I'm worried because I saw a review where the size went up even more after the second surgery...
I wrote a review by recalling my memories~~ I hope it helps.. If you let me know the problematic parts, I'll fix them!
If I get the second surgery... I'll definitely take pictures then~~
Have a nice day
