I decided to get a double eyelid surgery because I didn't like my small, upturned eyes.
I was worried because I heard that the surgery has many side effects, but I thought about it for about 3 yearsㅜㅜ I made up my mind to get the surgery this time, and now that it's been a month since the surgery, my eyes have grown naturally and beautifully except for a little conjunctival edema, so I'm personally satisfied!
The director of the hospital was really kind, and I trusted him and liked how he explained the surgery in detail.
The only thing that was uncomfortable after the surgery was the conjunctival edema. The whites of my eyes were so swollen that it was hard to close them, and I had a lot of eye boogers and my vision was poor, so I stayed at home for 3-4 weeks. And at some point, it started to get better slowly, so I told the hospital that my conjunctival edema wasn't getting better, and they prescribed me medicine and gave me an injection!
After that, one eye got noticeably better, but the other eye still has conjunctival edema, so I'm currently going to an ophthalmologist for treatment.
The pain was slight during the surgery, and it continued to hurt for the first day of the surgery and a week, so I frequently applied ice packs. Personally, I think the most painful time was when the second stitches were removed. But all surgeries are painful, so I thought I had to endure this level of pain.
After the surgery, my eyes got a lot bigger and the corners of my eyes went down, giving me a gentle impression. I was very satisfied. When I went for a consultation after one month, I was reassured that there would be no lower eyelid sagging because it was done with an incision. Overall, I was very satisfied with the surgery.
