(Reason for surgery)
Because of the double wrinkles, I often heard that I looked tired, so I started to find it annoying how I looked in photos,,
(Hospital selection process)
I originally had no plans to get double eyelid surgery, and I lived satisfied with my double eyelids, so I didn’t want a big image change.
The conditions were,,,
1. A hospital that recommends a line that doesn’t stray from my image, and whose reviews after the surgery also pursue naturalness.
2. A hospital that doesn’t recommend excessive trimming or eye correction,
3. A hospital that is calm and not hectic (= A hospital run by a single director).
After visiting four places and deciding, I chose this hospital because it was run by a single director, they perform surgeries on three people a day under non-invasive anesthesia (local anesthesia), and I trusted them!
Basically, all the reviews of the surgery were natural-looking, and the eyes of people I know who had surgery at that hospital were also very natural.
They said that eye correction was not necessary, and that both burial and incision were possible, but I wanted to finish it all at once, so I decided to only do the incision double eyelid surgery with the incision method.
Everyone around me who had double eyelid surgery said that the local anesthesia was so painful, so I arrived shivering, but
the surprise here was that the anesthesia injection didn't hurt at all ㅋㅋ (Just a little uncomfortable?? Of course, it can vary from person to person > Instead, the antibiotic injection in my buttocks before the surgery seemed to hurt for about 2 weeks ㅋㅋ)
The director cheered and praised me throughout the surgery, so I was able to proceed calmly without getting bored, and he kept opening and closing his eyes in between to check the lines, which made me trust him. On the
day of the surgery, I was just amazed at how my eyes changed, so I just looked in the mirror all day. I was worried because there was some bleeding on the left line, but it got better quickly after I applied ointment as the hospital told me to.
The swelling was at its peak when I woke up the next day, and it gradually got better after that.
The surgical site still feels numb when touched I can feel it(?), but I can feel the swelling going down to some extent and it's settling in!
People around me congratulated me on how natural it looked, so I feel proudㅎㅎ
In fact, when I just looked at the lines, I was worried because the left side (the scar or line) seemed less clean than the right, but I was reassured when the director said it would get better and that the surgery went well.
It's still the beginning, so I'll have to wait and see, but I'm very satisfied with my clearer eyes!!!
*Hospitals I've been to for consultation*
⚡️
Natural adhesion + eye correction recommended
It was a large hospital, and judging from the photos of general anesthesia procedures,
it seems like they've done a lot of fancy eye surgery (different from what I'm pursuing).
I hastily paid a deposit when they told me to go, but I canceled (I asked which hospital would do the surgery if I canceled).
⚡️
Incision + eye correction recommended
The only hospital that recommended incision, saying that natural adhesion was not possible.
Free swelling injection management, general anesthesia procedures.
The hospital atmosphere (interior?) was dark and there were a lot of foreigners, so I was reluctant for no
reason . In the actual consultation with the director, they just roughly drew up a line and told me that everything would be fine.
⚡️
The worst:
I made a reservation and went for a consultation, but there were too many people and it kept getting late.
The doctor was running around here and there and seemed crazy (I clearly made a reservation, but the doctor said that he was going into surgery and that the consultation would be late).
I thought that if I got surgery here, my eyes would also get surgery without me knowing, so I left without even having a consultation.
