 I received epicanthoplasty restoration surgery from Director Kim Geun-sik of Gangnam Mate Plastic Surgery.
About 10 years ago, I received double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty together, but
my originally gentle impression changed a lot, so it took a long time for me to adapt to my changed face.
At the time, I didn’t know if epicanthoplasty was possible, so I just thought I shouldn’t get it done anymore. But
a few years ago, I first learned about epicanthoplasty on YouTube.
Since then, I searched for several hospitals, and I received a consultation at Mate, which I liked the most for its surgery reviews, and made an appointment for surgery right away.
For the first week, the swelling continued to go down and things changed day by day. Now, one month later, the swelling has almost completely gone down and I still have a red scar.
I had a blue, vertical scar, but when I went for a follow-up after one month, they gave me a scar injection? And after getting
that, it has lightened a lot, so I'm less worried about the scar.
Now, I put on makeup in the morning, apply Medifoam in the afternoon, and go to sleep. As time goes by, the shape seems to be getting prettier and the scar is getting lighter, so I'm very, very satisfied.
Most of all, people around me told me that I did a great job and that my impression of the scar has improved, so I'm 1000% satisfied.
