Let me first explain why I decided to get revision eyelid surgery..
First, if you look at the pictures above, you can see the difference before and after, right?ㅋㅋ
Before the surgery, the semi-outline on my left eye wasn't bad, but it was really bothersome because of the double wrinkles, and my right double eyelid was completely undone compared to my left eye...(You could faintly see the inner double eyelid, but what's the point? I have one eyeㅋㅋ) If I were
to get revision surgery this time, I wanted to get a fancy in-outline or a semi-outline, but when I was consulting, since my left eye is already an outline, the director said that it would look good if I designed it a little fancier, and that my eyes were fully capable of the double eyelids I wanted. He
also said that if I did an epicanthoplasty and a dual-trim, it would look even fancier than just re-drawing the double eyelid line, so I happily received the consultation and decided to go with what he recommended.
Even on the day I went for the surgery, he drew the lines several times, showing me how much effort the director put into making sure that I would never have to go through revision surgery again, which was a relief! The surgery didn't take long and there wasn't as much swelling or bruising as I thoughtㅋ I was a little worried because it was a second surgery, but it doesn't look that bad, so I guess the surgery went wellㅎㅎ The remaining swelling seems to have gone down now, and I'm satisfied because my double eyelids didn't get any lower
. I think my self-esteem has gone up a lot because I succeeded in my second surgery.. but I hope it doesn't get any lower than this. Is it possible that it will get lower as time passes?ㅠ
(ps. For reference, I posted this in the information section, but the place I had the surgery was VN, and I got it done by Director Kim Tae-hoon)
