When I first told people around me that I wanted to have surgery, I was still young (I'm in my mid-20s) and people asked if I really needed to get bags under my eyes, but even if I put on makeup, my bags under my eyes were noticeable in photos, and I hated the way I looked tired, so I decided to get surgery and went to a consultation.
Dr. During the consultation, I was recommended fat grafting under the eyes + front cheeks, but I originally only thought about the area under the eyes, so when I thought about whether I should do it, they explained well with pictures that my face shape does not have fat in the front cheeks, so if I only do the area under the eyes, the area under the eyes would look worn out overall. I did it!
On this day, I returned with a surgery date scheduled for around the end of August.
First of all, the review of the surgery is that there were no ruptured veins or bloody tears right after the surgery, and there was only a slight bruise at the end of my right eye, but I was able to wear a mask and go to work and do daily life well!
They say the most swelling occurs on the 4th to 5th day, but there wasn't much swelling, and after about 2 weeks, the minor swelling went away well, making it look like a month-old photo.
And the front cheek fat transplant... It's not very visible in the photo, but it was put in considering that the fat would be lost the first time it was done. As I was giving it, I thought I did a good job because it was so full in the beginning, and I kept worrying about it, but by the 3rd to 4th week, the fat had disappeared moderately and it was just beautiful.
However, when the hospital first told me about fat grafting, they considered the fat loss and decided to do it in the first and second rounds. They told me to split it up and get it twice (they say you can freeze the first fat extracted and get a second treatment for free within 3 months), but
when I saw that it had been less than a month and 15 days, I saw that a lot of fat had disappeared and I even lost a little bit of fat. My left cheek is subtly bigger. It was so bothersome that it looked out of place, so I got a second fat grafting at the end of October.
Before the second time, the doctor looked at it again, and without me telling him, he said he would adjust it just because it was a little lower on the left side. People
around me said they didn't feel it, so they saw it every day. It was so subtly off that only my younger brother noticed it, but I was relieved that he noticed it.
Even after receiving the second dose, I thought I must have put in too much because of the swelling, but now that the swelling is almost all gone, it seems to be exactly what I wanted!
I was told that I didn't need to do it, and I was worried that my impression would change too much until the second week when the swelling was severe, but now I'm very satisfied!!
In particular, I think the front cheek fat grafting was done very well. Since I didn't have much fat, my face looked a little wide, but now that
the hollows under my eyes are gone and my face has volume, I think I look much more like my age and have a cute look.
