I've had double eyelid surgery three times.
The first time was with a burial method, but it came off quickly. The second surgery came off after 1-2 years, but it didn't come off completely, so I've been living with slightly better eyes than before the surgery.
Now, I don't want it to come off anymore, so I've had the third incision method. It wasn't a complete incision, but a partial incision.
I made a rash decision without doing enough research because of the hospital's marketing that they would give me a discount of hundreds of thousands of won if I decided on the surgery on the day of the consultation. I'm satisfied with the result, but I regret it a lot because I was just lucky. When I'm upgraded later and can write a detailed hospital review, I'll write more about the consultation process and that part.
All the side effects lasted longer and were stronger than what the hospital explained. I even had
blood coming out of my eyes, and unlike what they said I could return to my daily life right away, I was half-blind for a week, and the bruises are still there even after 3 weeks, and even though it's been 3 weeks since the surgery, my vision gets blurry and it hurts when I look at the computer for an hour. There's still a lot of swelling.
However, I think the lines are pretty, so I'm somewhat satisfied. The double eyelid surgery is much more noticeable than the old method, but I just did it with the mindset of "If a man's eyes are pretty, it's okay to show it," so it's okay. It
hasn't even been a month yet, and I haven't heard from people around me yet, so I don't know the results, but I think it's not a big deal. Since plastic surgery can be done again, I think if it's not a big deal, you're halfway there. Later, when the swelling goes down, I'll write another review.
