This is a review of the 30th day of epicanthoplasty restoration surgery, which I had been thinking about for a long time. ^^
I had a very slight epicanthoplasty more than 10 years ago, and the intention was to give the feeling of a slight opening with almost no change in eye size, but perhaps it was the wrong type, so it only felt like the crooked eye area was wide open. The size of both eyes were slightly equal, and my double eyelids seemed to be less distinct, so I decided to have surgery. When I started
looking into hospitals a few years ago, I decided on Mate Plastic Surgery. There were many things I liked, such as a single director, a large number of surgical cases, and meticulous follow-up care. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, I postponed the surgery for some reason, but had the surgery before the Chuseok holiday.
Because it was done through micro-restoration, the scar wasn't large, and the stitches were small, so it was nice that on the day of removing the stitches, they were gently removed so that it wouldn't hurt. I'm
still recovering, so the skin around the surgery area is hard and slightly swollen, but my left eye has healed almost imperceptibly, and my right eye has healed almost imperceptibly. There are some scars from the surgery (white scars) and red marks, but since I used regenerative tape, it doesn't bother me too much. They
say I need to wait 6 months for it to heal completely, so I hope it heals well by then!
