I'm just writing this because I felt refreshed after looking at photos of me after a long time since I had double mastectomy (burial + partial suture?).
I don't wear much makeup, and when I do, I only wear it really lightly, so it seems like just yesterday that I started practicing naturally and reciting it like a mantra, but it's already been 10 years.
I got it from my grandfather at an old plastic surgery clinic that is famous among locals, not in Apgujeong, Gangnam, but near my residence. The building was shabby and the facilities were not sophisticated, but I still vividly remember being surprised by the crowds. Until I lay down on the operating table, I was worried about what would happen if the doctor gave up and ruined my life. Even now, he corrected the problem without shaking his hand, so I was worried for no
reason haha. The surgery fee was very cheap and it was done by buried eyelids, so I told him 500 times that I was worried about the eyelids loosening, and he gave me a reason not to worry because it would never heal, but I don't remember. I just remember her having a great career.
I talked about both front and back epicanthoplasty, but they only recommended double eyelid surgery because they said that doing both would be far from natural, so I was very upset when I was young, but as time went by, it seemed more natural, so my family forgot that I had double eyelid surgery. The most surprising thing is that even though I gained weight, my lines are maintained, probably because I lost some eye fat. The mystery of the human body... It was a local anesthetic, not a sedative, and it was incredibly painful. It seemed to hurt more than pulling out a fingernail without anesthesia. But every time during the surgery, they told me to open my eyes and checked my lines, and I was able to check myself while looking in the mirror to see if my lines were natural. I think it was better because of it. I’m the type of person who needs to see with their own eyes to feel safe!
At first, I thought, “Oh my, I must be the type to have surgery,” as I watched the bruises and major swelling from fat removal disappear within two weeks after the surgery, but in the end, it took longer than expected for the minor swelling to go down. I think all the minor swelling went away in about 3 to 6 months. From 6 months to a year, my weight changed little by little and my lines became established, so it became my eyes lol.
Now, I visit every Mother's Day and say thank you~
All my ex-boyfriends and current boyfriends don't know that I have a double hand haha... last time. Even though I double-crossed my current boyfriend, he thought he was old. So I don't say anything more.
Everyone has different aesthetic standards, but I just like it because it looks like it was born with it. If you want something natural rather than flashy, I think it's a good idea to give up all your greed and go light. And for those who have just had surgery and are worried that the results will be bad, take it easy and wait until the swelling goes down. Unless the surgery was wrong, eventually everything will look natural and prettier over time. I hope everyone makes good choices~
