First of all, I am a man and I am in my 40s. Unintentionally, I had repeated and incorrect plastic surgery due to an injury 4-5 years ago, so I have experience under general anesthesia and sedative anesthesia more than 7 times. I am speaking from my own standard and my perspective. I have
a lot of knowledge and experience right before the surgery. You must have seen, heard, and studied a lot of information. In fact, the condition of the doctor in charge is just as important.
Before you enter the hospital and before you change out of your hospital clothes, tell your family or friends that you need to contact them for the surgery and that you will contact them later today or tomorrow. Even if it ends in 4 hours, you will be so dazed that you may not be able to have a normal conversation or
use common sense. So, say goodbye to the phone in advance, take a deep breath, and only think good thoughts. This is over. You can be happier. ...let's put down the phone a little sooner....it's good for your mental health...and....general anesthesia requires you to be in the most comfortable position when you lie down on the bed. If you're uncomfortable but undergo surgery, It hurt so much for 3-4 days after the anesthesia was broken. It continued to hurt to the point of anger. Even if I was in the most comfortable position, I would have a hard time for a few days wondering why the arm where the injection was being put in was so painful... I just did this in a slightly uncomfortable position. After undergoing surgery under general anesthesia... I was in severe pain for 4-5 days due to massive bruises on my neck, back and shoulders, and muscle pain. I'm a person who tolerates pain well, but I thought this wasn't enough... So,
all my body was in pain. Before the anesthesia surgery, I take the most comfortable posture and position. It's
not a big deal, but it
's a big deal. Before and after this general anesthesia surgery, I was very stable mentally and even after waking up from the anesthesia, and there was almost no pain (pain in the arm where the injection was administered). It seems like there is nothing I can do about it. Compared to the pain before, I thought I was happy because it was really at a 9:1 level.
Now, you will wake up from anesthesia. It will vary greatly depending on the details of the surgery and the area, but for me, nose surgery (as well as function) is an osteotomy, white cone, etc., so I
went to the hospital 2~ I was on an analgesic machine for 3 days.
When I wake up early from anesthesia, there are many places where all my organs are not fully awake. Among them, the place where the most discomfort occurs is urine. Some places say
you can drink water, while others say you should drink water when
you urinate. There have been more than 10 instances where I felt like I needed to urinate but could
n't go to the bathroom. It was quite uncomfortable and I thought I should
at least take medicine to help urinate. If you don't come out once, don't go right away just because you get a little signal, just wait. If a lot of time has passed, drink some water and try
. The answer will be time, but if it has been 7-8 hours after surgery, drink water. First, drink water and eat food 2 hours later.
Please note that it varies slightly depending on the hospital.
Also,
the most important thing after anesthesia is preparation and a comfortable movement route for the patient.
What
to prepare
: Humidifier!!! (If you are hospitalized, bring an uncontrolled humidifier. If it is a cold season, use a humidifier. If it is a hot season, it does not matter.
Especially general anesthesia is performed by inserting a breathing tube down your throat, so your neck hurts when you wake up. A humidifier is very essential the next day and the next day.
And during the period when your nose is blocked. Because there are many of these, a humidifier is essential even when you go home. Throat
lozenges sold at hospitals and just candies sold at supermarkets. If you drink water often or hold candy in your mouth, saliva will form, which can relieve pain or strain on your throat. Wet
wipes (keep your hands clean from time to time). You have to dab the blood, itchy spots, and dirty spots as well.)
Alcohol swab (I had surgery at a hospital. You can touch the area where the surgery was performed or wipe the bleeding area. I found this to be the most used and very useful. I used a generous 100)
Cotton swabs (there are many places to use them, such as applying medicine, removing eye sockets, etc.)
Trash can (where you can immediately throw or put them in whether you are lying down or up)
Paper cups (especially for people who have had nose surgery, only use them with your mouth) My throat hurts and is very strained because I have to breathe. I need to drink water little by little frequently.)
Straw (people who need a straw, such as if they have had a surgery that does not allow them to lift their head or need to eat a lot, should drink through a straw. It is comfortable and you can drink it.
Gargle (if it bleeds, it is stable) Are you going to brush your teeth? First, just gargle for a few days ~)
Cell phone charger and multi-cap 2-3 meter phone holder earphones.
I just ate something like a konjac jelly drink on the first day and the second day, and I think something like a protein drink is best because it is easy to drink and can provide nutritional supplements.
I wrote about the before and after and the preparations.
I hope you always think of it as the last and hope that all surgeries go well.
