The first surgery
was ptosis
at a hospital in Gangnam run by
the director of the plastic surgery department at a large hospital. I already didn't like it at the time, but
I knew a sister who had a second revision surgery because her left side was loosened and it went well with burial, so
I had it done at her hospital
and it was a total failure.
(I had ptosis, so I made an incision, so I made another incision, but I went to a place that is good at burying it. But even so, the director who did the surgery was also...)
The third reoperation was very difficult, and
I spent a lot of money on the now-defunct ㅈㅇ (ㅏ ㅣ ㅜㄴ). Even though I had paid for it
, it was only corrected and my eyes were just not looking good.
I was so stressed out that I had given up on living, so
6 years after my third surgery, I searched
around for hospitals for repeat surgery
. I went to about 8 consultations, but I will only write down the ones that come to mind.
1. The first place I went to was ㅜ ㅏㄴ, and
the director said that there wouldn't be much improvement even after reoperation.
Looking at the reviews, it seemed like they were making my completely ruined eyes look like human eyes, but
to me, they didn't look as natural as the operated eyes.
2. Next is the infamous ㅇㅎㅁ.
I almost had surgery there after seeing the pictures they showed there.
The counseling director told me the cost, it was almost 10 million won.
I started thinking about how to make that money.
There were so many bad reviews on the internet that I passed on it.
(If I hadn't experienced failure before at ㅎㅈㅇ, I might have done it here. I'm so glad I didn't)
3. ㅁㅅㄹㅇ
This hospital was really the worst.
The director looked at my eyes and clearly pointed out the problem, and
the solution was to re-cut my incision line and cover it.
So, I asked if the scar would get worse, and he said
that the scar wasn't the problem and that it was important to shape the eyes properly, but
I completely lost faith in him. (They say the scar will never get better.)
I didn't like the fact that they didn't show me the review photos. I
felt bad because of the lack of guidance from the counselor, so I just left.
4 ㄱㅅ(ㅣㅁ ㅏㄴ ㅓㅇ)
I liked Director Lee because he was honest.
He said he knew there was a problem with my eyes, but that repeat surgery wouldn't have much effect
. Because of your lack of confidence, I just passed this one too.
5. JJ (Director Hong Jin-ju)
The consultation was good and I liked that he answered any questions I had.
However, he said he was not confident about the chest area, which he was most worried about, so he
placed it as second priority. In my experience, if the doctor is not confident,
the results of the surgery are not that good.
6. ㅂㅇ (Teacher Jo Won-chang)
I heard that this place was really famous, so I mentally decided to go here
. I wasn't sure at the first consultation, so after two consultations, I decided to do it here.
They said there would be no problem with the surgery, but stay here during the consultation!! This kind of feeling never occurred.
However, I decided to have the surgery because I knew that among the hospitals listed, it was the most famous for revision eye surgery.
7. ㅇㅇㅇ (ㅏ ㅣ ㅜ ㅓ ㄴ) Dr. Park Byeong-jun:
After deciding to have the surgery at Bio, I was so unsure,
so I made a reservation for a consultation here a month later, so I decided to just get a consultation here and go to this place.
The consultation with the director was really short.
But in that short period of time, he told me what I wanted.
(It’s hard to say specifically)
After the consultation, I immediately scheduled the surgery date. here.
I was caught a month after the consultation.
Currently, 6 months have passed since my fourth surgery at ㅇㅇㅇ.
After surgery, I look straight into other people’s eyes.
I no longer have to worry about someone whispering that I had surgery.
However, I did not like the line on my right eye, so
I mentioned it during the progress report and received after-sales service after Chuseok.
I am so thankful now because I went through a lot of hardship and stress
before the reoperation and success
. I hope that even those who have had unsuccessful surgery, do not give up and
will have good results if you research hard.
