For me,
I've been making double eyelids since elementary school ㅡㅡ
I used to glue them on, but
later on I got lazy and just put a lot of force into them and they look
pretty natural ㅠㅎㅎㅎ
Double eyelids that last as long as you
don't look down or close and open your eyes ...rather than that,
I think it would be more fitting
to say that I folded the flesh over my eyes to make them look like double eyelids-_- ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
But
I guess I shouldn't have gotten it done anyway.
Honestly, it wasn't weird
and I heard people say, "Oh! It would be nice to have double eyelids"
(I was really hurt..._) When
I told my kids that I was getting surgery, they
also asked, "Why get it done when you have it?" -_-; Well, people
might think that
since I always put emphasis on my eyes when I meet others, but
at home I just live as an Asian and
when I wake up in the morning I look completely Asian,
so it's not like I'm leading a double life or anything, but I just
got it done because I didn't have the will to live(?) lol.
I got consultations at three places and got it done,
but what's really funny is
that all three places
I went to thought I had natural upper eyelids and
asked "Do you want to redo the ones you have now?" lol. But
...?
No.. I made it but it's
not uploaded..???? kekekekekeke
I made it.... kekekekekeke Wow
, should I be a doctor? kekekekekekekekekekekeke I made it in a
way that
even doctors can't recognize me, kekekekekeke
And then I told the teacher that
I made it myself keke When I said that, he said,
Wow,
you made it well? kekeke He said that ㅜㅡㅜㅋㅋ
I got the surgery at one of those places ㅎㅎ
It was Apgujeong~ When I went for the surgery,
there were 5 people, but
even if
we estimate 1 million per person, it was already 500 ㅡㅡ
I understand why people want to be doctors ㅎㅎ.... They
came, applied anesthetic ointment on my eyes, and
told me to take a picture.
Thinking about taking a picture of my eyes and showing it
to other people as a sample later, it was a violation of my portrait rights, but
I don't like it!
I was too timid to say that, so I just
kept quiet...
And then I was waiting,
and people kept coming in, so I was embarrassed ㅜㅡㅜ
To be honest, I was more scared of the surgery and it would hurt, but the thought of lying down
in front of the doctor and nurse and
just blankly having the surgery was so embarrassing ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ When my mom and the nurse saw that,
they thought
I was scared ㅎㅎ
Anyways, I finally lay down in the operating room. There was a light on the operating table
like you see in medical dramas ...
It was really dazzling when
it actually shined right into my eyes. It was fortunate
that I closed my eyes, but when I opened my eyes and turned it on,
the light was so bright
that I wouldn't be surprised if I went blind
(The light was annoying even during the surgery... To be honest, it
didn't hurt at all...ㅋㅋ)
And then I closed my eyes and kept lying down, and
the nurse came and said she was going to give me an anesthetic injection.
Before the surgery, I often heard at Sungye Hospital
that the anesthetic injection was the most painful, so
I was curious about how much it would hurt, so
I wanted to get it done quickly!
(Are you a masochist..? ㅋㅋㅋ) I
think I got shot 6 times in total because it was
a partial incision in the front.
Three times on each side?
Just reading reviews from Sungye Sa,
my eyes feel like they're going to pop out!ㅜㅜ
There were a lot of people who said things like that,
but honestly, it's too much.
If you think that
the injection in the butt
is less shocking because there's so much fat
there, it's a little more shocking than getting it in the eye
(exactly this expression).
Rather than saying it hurt
, it felt like a piston of some kind of liquid going into the wrinkles of my eyebrows
ㅋㅋ Even though I'm writing this, what's going on..
Go try it yourself ㅋㅋ
And the nurse kept
covering and pressing something like gauze on my eye.
At that time, the nurses were all doing it, so
I was surprised and thought,
"Do nurses do surgeries?"ㅡㅡIs this a black market..!!?"
Anyway, after a while, the doctors came and
drew a line with a mirror and
started. Oh
, I thought about them squeezing it with a needle
before they even did it.
Is that the spirit? A scene in a horror movie
where they gouge out your eyes
(I can't forget that sound...ㅠugh)
I got a little scared only then, but
I kept hesitating
, so I got bored later and thought I should hurry
up and go to sleep
ㅋ I think it was because of the anesthesia injection ㅋ
And then, like
the squid burning smell that I've only heard about in reviews here
, they burned my flesh in a line, and
a little while later, they saw some sewing
. It was a moment when I was really surprised by the greatness of hearing,
even with anesthesia
and my eyes closed ㅋ
All my nerves are focused on hearing, so
I react to the sound of ants..ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
Is that really the stitching?
They put thread in my eye
like when they do that and ping ping!
It was so taut that I thought my flesh was tearing ㅜㅡㅜ
It wasn't painful, it was just so-so ㅋㅋㅋ
While I was doing that,
the doctor
suddenly asked
, "What is 'epithelial slit' in English?"
This is what it
was like, but no one answered
(there were a lot of nurses next to me..)
So
are you asking me?ㅡㅡ...?;;;;;
So
I said
"I don't know ㅡㅡ..." and
they just giggled and
said "Ah, not the person doing the surgery, lol" Then
I looked and there was a nurse next to me who came to do the training, like
an intern or something.
I asked the nurse, but she thought I was asking her when she
didn't know and couldn't answer
lol
Anyway, I guess I have a good handle on it, it
really didn't hurt.
The nurses also said they had a good handle on it, but the anesthesia injection hurt the most.
ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
Finally I roughly got the hang of sewing
and from then on I turn off the light and
open
and close my eyes . They tell
me
to do this about 50 times. I tried hard at first
but my eyes were already under anesthesia so they relaxed and
it was hard to do. Later on it got annoyingㅜㅡㅜ
My eyes were really dazzled and
anyway I think it took about an hour.
I think I had a really calm surgeryㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
I was
more hungry
(I hope those who are going to have it eat well before going.)
and bored (I should have put on an MP3 playerㅋㅋ) than scared or worried on the operating table
ㅋㅋ
And
the aftercare
was scarier than the surgery itself.
It was hot, I couldn’t wash, I had to
keep my eyes open, and
I couldn’t sleep while lying down.
What theㅡㅡ..;
Anyway I hope it turns out pretty haha
I’ll stop here~
