I had it done in Gangnam, but after the first surgery, all sorts of side effects started to appear, as shown in the pictures.
The side effects I experienced were that my eyelids didn't have enough fat, so my eyes sank toward the eyehole and formed double wrinkles or were caught above the double eyelid line. Sometimes, when I was tired, my double eyelids wouldn't go in at all ;; And like the picture above, when I looked down, only one side had a clearer line, so my eyes looked even worse. So for these two reasons, I always had to strain my eyes, so my eyes got really tired and it was really stressful ^^
And lastly, my lagophthalmos was so bad that I even got dry eye. Because of these side effects, I got after-surgery at the hospital I went to for the first time, but there was no improvement at all.
And the side effects were side effects, but the lines weren't symmetrical enough to satisfy me, so after 4 years of re-surgery, I made up my mind to get a second surgery!!
I did the re-surgery with incision + fat grafting. I couldn't get double eyelid surgery anymore because of my lagophthalmos, so fat grafting to prevent double wrinkles was the best solution, and I think the fat grafting went really well. I wanted to lower it to in-out, but my eyes ended up being completely in, not in-out, so I just didn't stray too far from the original line and just made it symmetrical, and I'm so satisfied. Even when I lowered my eyes, the lines on both sides were clear, so I'm so happy that I don't have to strain my eyes anymore, even though it's only been a month. ㅎㅎ I
wrote this in a hurry in the hopes that it would be helpful to other people who have similar side effects as me, so the post got so long... If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!
