I had surgery 10 years ago and my double eyelids have gradually become thinner, making me look like a double eyelid and making my eyes look stuffy, so I always wear eyelid makeup as a must. I
always felt bad about makeup alone, so this time I made up my mind and got the surgery!
I was hesitant to have the surgery because I had seen many reviews saying that posterior infrathoplasty has many side effects and that it will come back together over time, but I went to Kirin Plastic Surgery Clinic because they said they are famous for surgery to prevent it from coming back together.
First of all, I pursue naturalness and am a scared person.. haha
The surgery is performed with sleep and local anesthesia, and my eyes feel a little tight during the surgery. I felt it and felt a little pain about twice, but other than that there was no discomfort. (The intensity of the pain is about 4 out of 10..?)
After the surgery, you need to use an ice pack for 30 minutes in the recovery room to fully recover from the anesthesia and go home. I had a guardian with me, so I left after 10 minutes, but I was dizzy the whole way home, so I held my guardian's arm and went home. lol;
I had my period on the day of surgery, so there was some swelling from the first day of surgery and there was blood in my right eye.
The next day, full-scale swelling and conjunctival edema began. I was prepared, but the conjunctival edema was very painful, uncomfortable, and difficult.
Still, I diligently took and applied prescription medication, a set of 3 anti-swelling medications, and eye ointment to reduce the swelling as much as possible.
I think I slept sitting up most of the time for about 5 days.
On the 5th day, the double eyelid and bottom opening stitches were removed, and on the 8th day, the posterior opening stitches were removed.
Even when the second stitches were removed, the conjunctival edema was so severe that I received a swelling injection at the hospital and took additional prescription medication.
After the stitches were removed, the next day, the conjunctival edema disappeared like a ghost and the swelling started to go down like crazy.
Now that it's been 2 months, a lot of the swelling has gone down . The redness has become so natural that it can be covered with makeup!
