As for the pain, I'd say it's close to painless, if not completely painless. I had a hard time breathing because of the pressure bandage on the first day, but I was fine walking around with washing my face. I was afraid to raise my arms because I was so shy, but I practiced raising them little by little every day or two, but it was more like a craving than a pain?
