I decided to get surgery because I
was tired of
sucking up my soul to a bra.

-Hospital selection-
1. The phrase “27-minute breast augmentation” and the fact that it was a private hospital specializing in breasts
meant that if the surgery time was short, there would be less bruising, swelling, and pain (it actually took 39 minutes to remove floating breasts). 2. The hospital seemed to be good at underarm incisions (I saw the scar progress photos on the blog and thought, “This is it!”)
3. No bleeding, no stitches removed, same-day discharge
4. Has healite and capsulotissimus (it was really effective in terms of swelling and texture)
5. Lifelong responsibility for any side effects that may occur after the surgery (in case of capsular contracture or rupture) without time limits
6. No Photoshop editing, bra wearing, or filters on the hospital blog! The fact that I could see the real changes with before and after photos, and that I could check the detailed progress case by case on YouTube

From preoperative examination to consultation and surgery, it was all done in one day
Comparison of the feel of the implants before consultation (note that these are personal opinions)
Both Motiva and Sevin Integrity had a similar firm feel, but personally, Sevin Integrity felt a little firmer.
I really liked the soft and squishy feel of Mentor Extra.
Consultation
- Prosthesis selection -
One side of my breast had a particularly short inframammary fold, making it asymmetry prominent, so I was recommended a strong implant that could lower and hold the inframammary fold. Before the surgery, I vaguely decided to go with Motiva, but I was worried about the feel of Mentor and Extra. In conclusion, Mentor implants can move around inside the breast a lot due to the slippery surface, such as bottom loss or side loss. In my case, I had to lower the inframammary fold on one side, so I decided on Motiva after hearing that it could move more often.
I decided on the Demi type because I wanted a safe breast with a narrow sternum and naturally spread breasts rather than a flashy, high breast.
-Size selection-
I tried on the size I wanted, Full C~D
implants, and decided on the 360cc that I thought was the prettiest, but changed my mind to the 380cc, which was one size larger, before anesthesia.
-Surgery- I
went in at 10 AM to get the pre-surgery test done on the same day, and I didn't feel nervous at all while waiting for the test results. I kept worrying about the size, and when I went into the operating room, I suddenly started shaking and had a mental breakdown thinking I should change the size, but the head of the consultation room and the head of the nursing room held my hand and assured me that I wouldn't regret the size. Before going under anesthesia, I said, "Tell them to make it in that UU shape," and fell asleep
. -After surgery-
Unfortunately, I was in the pain-free group and the pain-free group. The asymmetry of the lower jaw was severe, so the side with the lower jaw had the most pain, and because the pain was half and half, like fried food and half and seasoned food, I could feel "Oh, this is pain-free - Oh, this is labor pain" with my whole body. The pain-free side only felt really heavy. I just felt no pain - so I understand how those who won the pain-free surgery feel, and I also understand the reviews of those who said it was too painful^^*
Despite that, when the doctor came after the surgery, I was on the phone with a friend^^* I was able to go to the pharmacy, get some medicine, and be discharged alone without a guardian - I took a taxi home, and there was no discomfort except for the speed bump and having to hold my chest when cornering (tolerable pain) -
Days 2-5 -
The swelling was no joke because the inframammary glands had to be lowered for the removal of the floating breasts. My chest swelled to about 100cm, and my fingers were swollen due to my stomach swelling. There was bruising on the floating breasts, and my left chest (the side with the severe inframammary gland asymmetry) was in severe pain (burning and tingling). In particular, I didn't know what the pain would be, so I was surprised and sent a KakaoTalk message and called, and I sent a photo of the affected area and got feedback quickly. Fortunately, it wasn't blood clots, but the pain was caused by the skin and muscles stretching on the side where the inframammary glands were stretched! The pain has been reduced significantly now!
The incision was covered with Dermabond, which doesn't require stitches, so I took a quick shower on the third day. I was able to fix the showerhead to the wall and wash my hair.
Although I was told that I could sleep lying down, I put several pillows behind my back and raised my upper body as much as possible to sleep. It wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought.
- One week after surgery -
On the day of the surgery, which was the first follow-up date,
I wrote down all the things I was curious about and asked the doctor. He was kind and explained the pain pattern and current condition in detail. The swelling went down relatively less than other people, so an upper band was added for one week, and a sternum band was added because my sternum is a bit close.
Since my house is far, I wanted to get aftercare as early as possible, so I received Hilite capsulotis care -> Choose a hospital that has capsulotis! You can feel the firm texture - really, really!! It became soft and loose
. You can feel the recovery speeding up as soon as a week passed. As the swelling gradually goes down, I like the shape and size more and more.
Before surgery, lower body circumference 73-74, chest circumference 80-82.
Average build with no upper chest. A-cup.
Breast room 12, 12.5 each.
Motiva Demi 380cc (same on both sides).
Armpit incision, one week after double plane
surgery. Lower body circumference 70 (lower body circumference decreased due to the pressure of the corrective bra). Chest circumference 90-91. E-cup!
Expected to be a D-cup eventually.
