When it comes to implants, it is not just about whether they are made of silicone or nose gel.
Most of the members seem to only focus on nose gel or silicone, so
I am uploading detailed information about implants for information purposes.

1. Companies that make implants
There are two companies that make implants.
As you probably know, there are Mentor and Allergan.
In particular, Allergan's implants were actually made by McGan.
McGansa was acquired by Inamedi, and
Allergan in turn acquired Inamedi (famous for Botox), and
it is now called Allergan's product.
To explain the brand names again,
Allergan chose the brand Natrelle for all of its breast implants, and
Mentor chose the brand Memorygel for its nose gel implants.
(There are various types of saline solution, so I wonder if it is a brand name or a type name... ㅡㅡ;)
In conclusion, there are only two companies.
(Please do not be confused between McGann, Inamedi, and Allergan...)
2.TYPE (Smooth and Texture)
The word 'type' I am talking about refers to 100 types (outside).
Both companies have smooth type and texture type in common.
As I occasionally mentioned in Seongyesa,
the smooth type, which is most commonly used in Korea,
has a smooth bag on the outside, so it does not stick to body tissues and emphasizes the natural look.
Of course, it is important to expand the breast space through massage to allow the implant to move naturally.
(Of course, the rate of spherical contracture decreases due to massage.)
However, the texture type is the exact opposite of this, focusing on breast shape rather than naturalness.
It adheres closely to the body tissue, so there is no need for massage or chest room.
(There won't be any fluttering either.)
2.STYLE (Baby Shape)
In particular, people who undergo breast augmentation surgery do so without knowing much about this.
In Korea, the desired type is all set, so we will use the average one, but
I think it is something you need to be aware of.
STYLE refers to the shape of the bag.
There are styles that spread out when you lie down, and there are also styles that are bulging.
Styles vary depending on width and height.
To summarize,
1. A style that is low in height and puffs up when you lie down
2. A style that is high in height and is bulging when you lie down
3. Between 1 and 2
4. Other... (round or narrow and high...)
In Korea, I think numbers 1 and 3 will be used the most.
Like the guitar in number 4, there is also a full profile, very large size, and a style used by poxx actors.;;;
3. SIZE (quantity of implant)
Saline solution can be of any size within the size range of the bag.
In other words, it is possible to do as much as the patient wants (as long as it is not crazy small or large).
It is up to you to add saline solution up to 1 unit:
150cc, 200cc, 210cc, 220cc, 221cc, 222cc .
Because Kozel is solid silicon, the size is fixed.
In the case of Mentor, the units are easy.
Regardless of the style,
from 100cc (125cc) to 400cc, there are 25cc increments,
from 400cc to 600cc, there are 50cc increments, and
there are sizes of 600cc, 700cc, and 800cc.
Allergan's implant sizes vary depending on the style.
Since the units are not broken up like Mentor's, listing them is a bit difficult.
However, it is not a sorted unit like Mentor, but there are all the appropriate sizes, so
there is no need to worry about choosing Mentor or Allergan products because of size.
5. A/S (after-sales service in case of implant problems)
You can find
information about A/S by searching my name
, but to briefly explain once again,
lifetime A/S is available for Mentor's implants.
One genuine sticker is issued for each implant (2 on each side).
I understand that Allergan's implants have a limited after-sales service period.
The above information refers to the genuine product and
is separate from the surgical after-sales service provided by the hospital.
Mentor's implant burst 30 years later, so
I don't think it would be a good idea to go to the hospital where the surgery was performed and ask for a reoperation for free.
For your information, plastic surgery clinics in Korea prefer Mentor products.
6.A side note.
When you often see posts about
implants, the only thing they talk about is what kind of implants were put in and how many cc they were put in.
Since it is an implant that costs several million won to put into your body,
we recommend that you show good sense by asking the hospital
'which company it is made from', 'what type', and 'what shape the bag' is .
