I was skinny everywhere else, but my calves were always thick. When
I exposed just my calves, I felt very strong.
I gained some weight in the middle, so I went on a diet and did interval training while jumping rope. There was a time when my calves developed so much that they
became thick to 35.5cm (I was 167/49 at the time, but what about my calves? Work?)
Anyway, I was so stressed out that I didn't even think about shortening my shorts.
Then I learned how to play golf and had to go out on the field.
You know golf clothes, right? All short skirts. I thought about wearing pants, but the pants were too close to my calves and didn't fit well.
Anyway, I looked into it and found out about calf injections.
It was more expensive than Botox, but I was scared of liposuction and the reviews were good, so I got the procedure
and wow, it was awesome!!! The real calf bulges disappeared completely. I only
got the gastrocnemius treatment, and the effect was great.
It's been 2 years since I got the treatment, and I'm about to visit my last visit.
Let's summarize the pros and cons I've felt so far.
Pros -
1. Definite effect. At its thinnest, it was about 29cm and
now it is maintained at about 31cm
. 2. Simple injection procedure. I got hit in a few places and immediately drove home.
There was no problem with my daily life. There were bruises at the injection site after the procedure, but I just had to wear compression stockings and long pants.
Disadvantages -
1. Expensive!!!
2. I can’t run after the procedure. Even if you want to run, you can't
run. There's a crosswalk light right around the corner, so you have to run,
but you have no choice but to go for the warning. LOL (possible after a while)
3. My legs are thin because I'm losing weight, but the shape of my calves is not very pretty. (As time passes, the shape seems to improve as muscles build up.)
3. The hospital says there are no compensatory muscles, but
I feel that there are.
4. I visited the hospital 4 times in 2 years
. 5. It is not permanent.
It was a procedure with no regrets because it was effective.
I would do it again when I go back.
I will decide whether to add more in the future after seeing how thick my legs become over time.
