Surgical area: shoulder keloid surgery scar, side kidney general surgery scar
(total of 40cm)
Surgery and treatment name: micro-ridge scar removal surgery, electron beam therapy
At the time, I had a clavicle fracture and the surgical site became keloid after surgery, so
I decided to have surgery. And at the same time, I also
had surgery on the general surgery scar on my side.
The surgery was performed under local anesthesia, and the anesthesia injections were injected in several places
, so it was painful, but I was comfortable after that.
I think the surgery lasted for almost 3 hours. They did it very meticulously.
After the surgery, I went to a general hospital with electron beams that they recommended to me
to receive electron beam therapy for 3 days in a row starting from the day of surgery, and
had the stitches removed a week later.
After pulling out the stitches,
I had to put tape on the surgical area for 4 months to prevent it from opening up due to skin tension, which was embarrassing ㅠㅠ
Anyway, 9 years have already passed, and
now it looks like the picture.
Can you see the keloid on my chest??
At that size, the entire area around my shoulder was a keloid.
It was very big... It became a single line, as shown in the post-surgery photo.
I'm going to get breast keloid surgery soon.
I'll post a review after doing this as well.
Oh, for your information, the surgery cost includes the cost of electron beam therapy.
I think it was about 1,200, but I don't remember because it was 9 years ago.
