I'm a man, I had a functional nose surgery for nasal septal deviation and chronic rhinitis, and a cosmetic nose that heightened the tip of the nose with septal cartilage. A week after the operation, the splint was removed and the outer stitches were removed. The tip of my nose is so red and I feel like something is full inside. It's not just red, but I can see a white nucleus (?) in the middle of the red part, so I wonder if the sharp part of the cartilage is poking the nose skin, but it doesn't hurt that much when I touch it. I wonder if cartilage penetration or inflammation occurs even in the case of surgery with one's own septal cartilage.
