<수술 후>- Status before surgery
When I was about 17 years old, my aunt recommended me to a strange plastic surgery clinic in my neighborhood. They used a 1-shaped piece of silicone to straighten the bridge of my nose in a closed-door manner, and the tip of my nose was not touched at all. The starting point of my nose was too high and the tip of my nose was not done, so my nose looked long, and the silicone was visible + it was bent to the right
. I was very stressed. The reason I haven't had a repeat surgery for 10 years is because the first surgery was done under local anesthesia, but I was so scared of that memory that I couldn't muster up the courage. I'm a very scared person, to the point where people asked me if I had hypochondria. LOL But next year, though
. I got married early and wanted to look good in photos, so I made a big decision
-
I thought it was the last time I would show up and started getting counseling, so I
really sold my feet a lot
. ㅇㅇ,ㅍㄹㅇㅂ Etc. [I couldn't get a consultation for ㅇㅇ and ㄹㅂㄹ because I had to wait too long]
I think I've been to all the hospitals that are often mentioned for revision rhinoplasty, and
each doctor's materials and surgical methods are different, so I was very worried until just before
- I wanted the nose
to be lower than the starting point and tip of the nose. I wanted a natural, round nose that would raise the eyebrows but not show too much plastic surgery! So, I mainly searched for hospitals that looked natural and skipped the flashy places. - Surgical method I consulted with the doctor one more time right before the surgery, and he seemed to have a firm standard, so I decided to get the nose I
wanted
. Although he didn't reflect much of it, I think it was good that he clearly said that he couldn't do anything that couldn't be done! I wasn't under sleep or general anesthesia, but I was so scared that I kept crying even while lying on the operating table, but the helpers kept comforting me and playing me songs, so I calmed down. After removing the existing silicone, I put it in a 3mm silicone nose bridge and raised the tip of my nose with septal cartilage and placed it on top of it
. I used ear cartilage and butt autologous dermis!
At first, only the cartilage and autologous dermis were collected under sedation, and the rest was under local anesthesia (it took almost 5 hours, but it was difficult because I was trying to stay sober...! Still, it seems to be safe) - There was no swelling immediately after the results, but starting the next day, I was bruised and
swollen
. I was really worried, so I slept sitting up for about 2 days, turned on a humidifier, and used a lot of cold compresses.
I had the splint removed today, the 9th day, and I like it! I was really worried because they told me that if I used dermis, it would look like a box nose, but it turned out better than I thought! Right now, the bruising isn't going away and there's swelling, so it looks like my nose is big, but I think it's turned out just as I wanted, and I should say it's symmetrical, but I think it's keeping me centered well!
It hasn't been long since I had the surgery, but this hospital doesn't have any events, so there are only a lot of reviews of removal and no reviews of reoperation, so I was really scared when I decided to have surgery! I hope this helps!!
